Possibley the most stupid post ever made anywhere in cyber space?

This from the man and his friends who hide behind "Coronation Street" pseudonyms.

It's all starting to become clear why 'IJN' has been retired. (LOL. He has the nerve to start this rant barely 24hrs after he ditched his own pseudonym)

Wake up people... Do your really want a man who is clearly becoming more mentally unstable by the day, to be influencing the future powers that be at Argyle?

The reason I chose my user name was because I had watched the film Bullitt the night before.

Since becoming a mod on ATD I have had a number of obnoxious pm's on pasoti complaining about this site. One was threatening and told me "to watch my back" the next time I was at HP.

Obviously this person has no idea who I am, but I am easily identifiable through facebook and I have no desire "to watch my back" at HP.

I think that is a good enough reason for a pseudonym.

Yep, you've been outed on pasoti and it was a shitty thing to do. Pseudonyms and the choice to use or not use them is a personal issue. As we have exchanged pms you and I know each other's identities but have respected that choice. But, in your usual OTT style you lose credibilty. I thought Chris Webb was making an important & helpful point.

And as for Rickler's accusation of "mental instability" - that's a playground name-calling. And one IJN is all too capable of reciprocating. You're clearly very important to each other.

Good grief, this and some of the reactions on Cerbera's Pasoti thread are utterly absurd.

So I'm scum, a coward, vile, a not so bright troll and other assorted Very Bad Things because I post about Argyle on a different forum and have the temerity to ask a couple of questions when things have either not been communicated properly or not been communicated at all? Thanks, then.

And for the record, Mr Newell, as I presume you will be reading, my full name is Nick Ellis. You probably don't remember it but I donated some stuff to Ray's Help For Heroes fundraising drive when I latterly posted under the name of NGamer on Pasoti. When my work email changed I requested my account be re-authorised - under my real name - four times from two different email accounts. It never got re-authorised, so I came over here for my Argyle chat.

I hope this is suitably lacking in cowardice for you.

Low breeding. Low intellect. Low cunning.................... These are our self appointed leaders. None but the Aviva boys will follow them and when the money stops coming in, he'll ditch them. They have nothing else to offer. No imagination. No sophistication. No class.

The 5/6k faithful at Home Park these days must be chiefly old farts too stuck in their ways ever to change habits and a smaller number of terminally tinted Aviva boys, blindly following a few local, opportunistic dough boys.

One of many reasons that people use a pseudonym is to prevent bullies from explointing them, why on earth would anyone need to know a true identity unless their intention is to bully?

That's the first time I've ever been called scum just for giving of my opinion... football fans ... huh. Tony Wrathall was scum once, but now he's been forgiven apparently, so there's hope for me yet then.

Poor old sods over there are being bullied into changing their usernames now the Contingency politburo need to spruce up their image and use their own names before moving into Home Park. It's all a bit Soviet, I must say. Will these people have to use their real names over on Exeweb now or will that be time out ?

Having read that, I could understand that any user of this site would feel unsafe to attend any event, be it a match or any other Argyle related event.

Fortunately out of the 5503 pasoti members only a tiny percentage (less then 0.5 of a percent) seem to be using similar hysterics.

Yesterday the club President condemned one of ATD's members and accused him of "hatred". I'll be interested to hear his views of his friends comments.

If ever there was justification of why the Trust should distance itself from one or two characters, this is it.

I would advise that any comments like the above are saved and handed to the relevant authorities. I think it would be considered to be threatening behavior and enticing others. I also think the club should be made aware of this behavior, especially Peter Ridsdale and James Brent as they are associated with one or two characters.

Banter is one thing, what I have been reading is another!

How does I an Newell's desire to ask all posters on pasoti to use their real names fit in with the practice of allowing their moderators to have multiple user accounts to protect their identity. Just asking like.... it was always professed these multiple accounts were essential ... especially when abusing fellow posters late at night after a few. Maybe Ian the Baptist only intends baptising privates and camp followers, not the officers.

I've posted my views on the subject over on Pasoti. Frankly I find it a totally irresponsible move to form the thread and the whole thing has potentially pissed off a lot of posters

I think today's disgusting events will be remembered as a sad day for Argyle fans. I know we all have our differences but this has been truly shocking.

One good thing to come out of this act of intimidation is that many are now asking what ATD is, hopefully they will find their way here and read an alternative view and agree or disagree with the freedoms that they are not acquainted to.

They can decide for themselves whether we are scum and cowards, or not.

I am seadog or trueseadog all over the net, I always include my name is in the email address I use to register. It is easy for mods to track me down.

Pasoti is certainly becoming a different experience of late.

2nd post and i copied this off someones signature 'ATD = Freedom of expression without comments edited, bannings, valid comment deletion and without preferential treatment for friends, as well as fair and just moderation.' If this is true, then i will be well and truely converted. As somone on Pasoti who frequently gets a torrent of abuse thrown my way because i dont always agree with everyone it will be nice to just have an opinion and people to respect that and move on in life!

Also the emotes on here are much cooler!

Wow, ATD has certainly got to Pasoti.

I make it that I am Scum Scum. Scum for being a City fan (that is OK with me), scum because I enjoy this site and the intelligent Argyle fans that inhabit it. Never thougfht I would ever call an Argyle fan intelligent, but hey ho, times change.

Don't get me wrong I always want Argyle to lose, but I detest Pasoti and how it has let your decent Club down.
