So what happened ? I fell over then got accosted by a middle age tree-hugging type lady with a red mohican singing the Chilean national anthem. Bizzare, just bizzare.

my brother drinks there apparently Fantastic spit and sawdust pub. Huge choice of different ales, and you can ask to try one first before you buy. Anywhere else, the robbing bastewards would charge you for that. |

| Today I saw a cat walking neatly and properly over a zebra crossing. It was a Cornish cat, or at least a cat in Cornwall.
And (Jock - I hope you're sitting down) a woman who sat next to me on the train was wearing a wolf fleece. |

Had the woman shorn said wolf, spun the wool onto yarn and then knitted a fleece from it, or more like just hollowed out the wolf and worn that? Or option c) gone to Primark and bought a fleece complete with Wolves, pine trees, mountains and the moon? I don't know what the affinity is between Cornwall and American red necks but there definitely is one. |

| Last night Mark Thomas was not at all mundane. In fact he was bloody brilliant!!!!! And by a long way the best comedian we've had at the Chapel.
So I won't mention him on this thread. |

Why should God tell all the best jokes? (Interestingly, Mark Thomas said that his mum-in-law is a devout Catholic & he loves her dearly. Also his sister is a CofE vicar). One of his funniest sections was telling about his minor acts of dissent involving adding stickers to various items - including one that he puts onto the covers of Bibles in bookshops that says "Signed by the author". ...... it was the way he told it. |

I don't know what the affinity is between Cornwall and American red necks but there definitely is one. It was one of those ones people seem to be able to buy. I have no idea where, let alone why - it can't be fashion, though, as I can remember seeing them at least five years ago, and the little I do know about fashion tells me that changes every five minutes. For instance, the fashion of wearing very tiny shorts on top of your tights, but still tiny enough to show your knickers, seems to be on the way out. Which can only be good news, in my opinion (and not because I'd ever have considered wearing it, either). Although fashion does seem to come round again every two or three decades. So now I've confused myself. Message ends. |

Is it time to send out a search party. Safely back in from the planty thing. Collected number 2 child from school, upset number 1 child (taking the mick out of her! ), had dinner and after put things in the dishwasher. Work tomorrow for a rest. _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! | Onesies (not sure how you spell it) are allegedly in now yet as a child I remember Andy Pandy never wore anything else. Fashion it seems is either in or out but never both at the same time. Keep it long enough and you will be in at some point. |
