What I said on the Telegraph comments, and I paraphrase is 'This is nothing more than a PR article...... you should try some real journalism - look at the fans' forums and the comments posted on the local news about the development. Right thinking people of Plymouth do not like this development. I think I may have said something about it being cheap, nasty and inappropriate.

No sweary words - just a pithy comment calling into question the standard of reporting on their newspaper of something that is VERY unpopular with the majority.

And I've read someone on Pasoti musing that James Brent's people do not waste time scouring forums to gauge opinion. How stupid. Of course they do. They watch every related thread avidly. It's a massive barometer and no doubt makes them nervous.

You got to give Greenman/2 face credit for trying to convince the simple folk on the farm that the ministand in a village, is anything other than a pile of shite.

I suppose 20,000 as opposed to 17,000 isn't as bad as saying income generated is going to be between £1-2 million

I wonder if Brent meant between £1 and £2 million? He does get misquoted quite often.

Nearly all of pasoti's newbies tend to be extremely supportive of Brent, sarcastic and insulting when you do not agree with their opinion. What does that tell you?
