Today, I have been strimming. When I had done my work, I visited a local bar. It was quiet so I tried to get on the internet. My not so inteligent 'phone would only allow me to see 1 page before disconecting. If this is visible then vodafone.pt has worked. 3 cheers.

Good old Vodafone. Oh I forgot they just made me redundant.

This morning I am delving into the archives.

Collecting a new throttle cable for my truck, bleedy thing snapped yesday

We have a water leak - in the supply pipe outside. Nothing to do with SWW obviously!

I talked to some adolescent called Kevin (yes, really) who insisted that it was my responsibility.

Not happy.

I'm taking #1 son to a birthday party this afternoon. Dozens of 4 year olds in the Drakes Den soft play area, all jacked up on crap party food and pop. Can't wait. Must take paracetamol with me.

I was poking around in Admin. and thought you were in Iceland......................... and not the shop.

Picked up two small relatives at 7.45am. By 9.30, we'd had breakfast, watched Charlie and Lola, made chocolate rice crispie cakes and I'd suffered two major, irreplaceable breakages.

Spent the rest of the day at the park, where the only damage incurred is somebody else's concern. I'm going for a long sleep as soon as I've done my poem.

Always need a long sleep, before and after dealing with Grandchildren, thoroughly recommended, no essential.

I have insufficient cash on me to buy a can of Strongbow on the train, meaning I'll have to go the cashpoint or go without. This displeases me.

Still, chicken fajitas for tea later.

Escaped the archives. Had a sandwich. Had a car malfunction. Had a phone-call to the garage. Had a nap. Had a read. Will have a very easy pizza to eat before going out for a drink. Another day.

Just been confirmed Portsmouth have been docked 10 points.

In other news, eldest daughter is having a breakdown after I video'd the carnage that is her bedroom, and told her I'm going to put it on Facebook.

Not very mundane today. Trying not to survey the wreckage of my prized possessions, trying to get some work done and trying to fight off a bad cold. Yes, I'm very trying

Today I will start making the marmalade.

I must stop shuffling about in the dark with nothing on my feet.

Tonight I will mostly be drinking quite a nice Rioja.

Beautiful sunny day. This, along with a football result and the gradual improvement in my cold, is enough to put all thoughts of breakage (and of the washing machine spewing water all over the kitchen floor) out of my mind.

Busy day ahead. Mostly working and writing a couple of pieces for the programme.

Mundane. Not so much a thread as a way of life

Just spent a couple of minutes looking for my glasses only to remember that they were on my head!

Got the afternoon to myself today, so it's Saracens v Leicester followed by Liverpool v Brighton on the tellybox.

Finishing the marmalade. Pausing for cheese on toast for lunch. Solving the nation's financial crisis this afternoon.

Finished another book last night. Once again, the murderer did it. However, in an interesting twist, the murderer who did it wasn't the murderer I thought had done it.

Daytime tv is (mostly) awful.

However, Jane Seymour (Dr Quinn Medicine Woman, ITV3) is a fine figure of a woman.
