| So the great stitch-up is complete. Genuine commiserations my Green friends.
Although I'm trying not to spend too much time on forums just now, I was moved to compose a little two-part ode to misery, as it were. So singalongaJabba, throw your hands in the air and wave 'em like you just don't care.
(To the tune of "Only Fools And Horses").
Opening theme. (To be played when the Cheerleaders are shakin' that ass)
"He's got the Council in his pocket, He holds the Herald in his hand, And if you want the cheap un's and you don't ask questions, Then brother he's your man,
But how he blagged it is a mystery, Just like his "honesty" and "openness" and "transparency", But here's the thing that's driving me berserk, What is making Nool and JB smirk?
La-la-la-la-lah La-lala-la La-la-la-la-lah La-lala-la".
CLOSING THEME (to be played in between the boos at the end of the game)
"He's got cut-price grandstands, mob-handed superfans Private eyes and green lungs, hackers, spies and forked tongues Loan sharks, public parks and Stockport County bench-marks Neutradol (cos sh*t stinks) cinemas and ice-rinks Rinks, rinks, rinks, rinks, rinks, rinks, rinks
No centre-backs, no transfer fees No money back, no guarantees Green and Whites, He's rich, you're broke He'll cut budgets at a stroooooooke.
God bless Hooky Street, Viva Hooky Street Long Live Hooky Street C'est Magnifique, HHP Magnifique, HHP HHP (to fade)"
In fact it strikes me that "Hooky Street" might be an appropriate nickname for Brent's PAFC as an institution, the jamboys committe room and/or the HHP project as a whole.
Here to help.

Here to help. Brilliant Jabba. I would put up some lol smileys except it's not that funny if you're an Argyle fan! I'll send this to some people who almost certainly won't appreciate it though |

| Brilliant! But you're preaching to the converted here. That needs to go on pasoti where they think yesterday was a good day for PAFC |

I'll send this to some people who almost certainly won't appreciate it though Send the edited version then. (i.e Change the "I'm" and "I'll" (in red) to "He's" and "He'll". Makes more sense that way.) |

Shirley you were on your knees thanking Tw@sdale for the points that kept you up? Indeed they should mate. A draw would have relegated them, a fecking draw. |

Simao, you had to spoil it and remind us of our dark times. We had Wacko Jacko and Bubbles, you still have Wacko Newell and his chimp. It hurts Simao, doesn't it? |
