I dunno, I go away for a weekend and look what happens. For the record I have no idea why either.

ATD is a site for diverse discussion?????? "delete your account if it pleases you and while your at it take your old man with you". Censorship? Well you decide. My interpretation is that if you don't slag everything Argyle off for the sake of it then you may as well feck off because your view isn't welcome on here. ATD has become more like an episode of Beavis and Butthead than a discussion site. There is very little discussion to be had anywhere just a whose got the biggest cock and flashes it best. You only have to go through threads to see this in practice. The other practice is to accuse somebody of having "an agenda" or being "a mole". What that does is just to ignore any point they may be making the easy way. Don't want a discussion or anyone to disagree just post something along the lines of "XYZ is shit at Argyle" and you will do fine.

I repeat I have not one idea why hairyj has deleted his account as I didn't know until I switched on tonight and haven't spoken to him as I've not been here. I am suprised myself but sorry to disappoint, I won't be deleting my account anytime soon and hope to piss a few off for a while yet. With a bit of luck starting with this post.

Cutting through that speech you stay as long as you like SG. Ask Hairy to reconsider. This site does push the boundaries for some people and for some it pushes them over the edge. I deleted my account once as I felt the negativity was becoming all consuming. I was wrong. If I don't wish to post in the future I'll just let my account wither and die through non posting.

I know its the summer and therefore posting is quiet but it would seem that this forum is quieter than normal. Any comparison stats compared to last year?

There are some - though I think they are done on a 12 monthly basis. I'm off to bed but if one of the fitter mods is still up, I'm sure they will do the job..... otherwise you'll have to wait for me to wake up around lunch-time tomorrow.

Hairyj might be a bit annoying at times, he winds me up sometimes but at least he gave an opinion on subjects which were his own. He has a sense of humour which you clearly let go over your head as you aren't bright enough to get it. A lot of his posts were precisely that and people like you bite and get reeled in so easily. You on the other hand are more spiteful than humourous but oh how you must laugh. You have never gotten over his PM to you in my defence have you when you came out with another of your crass posts at me a good while back now. There are others on here who hold a grudge just as tightly. If anyone is anal then try looking in a mirror and at a few other posters who have the same trait as you.

Knowing him as I do I doubt he will give the slightest stuff about anything people on here have to say and it wouldn't surprise me one jot if the Bye Bye wasn't a final wind up as well.

I've had a look but the stats that are available are based on a rolling 12 months so last August or July isn't available. On a gut feeling, I do think that it has been a lower turn-out.

SG, think you summed up the thoughts of a lot of "neutrals" with that summation. I put myself in the sceptical of Brent group, which I think both you and HAiry are (I stand to be corrected) but at least you guys give reasoned debate. Yes Shonbo it is possible to not like some things Brent is doing/has done without thinking everything is bad. Some though don't seem to like that idea and only see Brent is evil and anything or anyone connected to him is his convert and therefore evil also.
