| A slow start but enough promise so that the panic button is not pushed too early.......but lower mid table come the end. I don't think we will be worrying about relegation this year but I cannot see anything to get excited about. |

- I've just had a conversation with a chap who's closer to the club than I am and he was certain that Sheridan was close to bringing another attacking player in. Whether that is a striker or goalscoring midfielder he wasn't sure. I think young Tyler Harvey could also be an ace up our sleeve, I'm going to be positive and predict we'll push for the playoffs.
Roll on Saturday, Best wishes, Asti. Whilst that would be good in some ways we now seem to have a fair few options up front, except Lecointe is out for the season now. It would suggest that Sheridan doesn't think Morgan and Reid will work as we already have those two, TH, Vasell and a few attacking midfielders/wingers. Maybe if there's a real old fashioned goal poacher available who has scored goals for fun over the years but is knocking on a bit and probably couldn't give too many 90 minutes worth? Would last 70 minutes and put away a fair percentage of chances manybe? Michael Owen's retired now but I'm sure £1500 a week plus £250 per goal might tempt him |

| There will be a lot of nil nil, one one draws, a few wins here and there with us getting excited at the prospect of winning three back to back some point in January. There will be a lot of defeats probably going into double figures with a finish of around 16th, eight places above City. |

Sheridans form when he took over would have led us to coming 8th over the course of a season, that was with a significantly weaker team as well. Dreaming am i? But the 'goal scorer' in that team is no longer in our line up. Whether Sheridan's present team is 'significantly stronger' is yet to be determined. Even without Banton, i still think we're a better outfit, look at the signings this summer compared to last |

- The general consensus on here is for a lower mid-table finish which seems about right. I don't think we're poor enough for relegation, or have the firepower for a promotion surge so I'm expecting a Pulis-like "binary football" season with lots of 0-0's and 1-0's. I'd go for 12th.
I agree roughly with the position but think we'll be in for a few high scoring games. Our lack of one prolific scorer will be made up for by Sheridan's attacking style. Incidentally, our good defence may suffer from it. |

| I agree with shitbag Tisdale. I am quietly confident. Exeter fell to bits near the end last season and that momentum will probably continue. Torquay seem doomed. We on the other hand are in a much stronger position - on paper.
We had a diabolical start under Fletcher - it felt like we played 20 wasted games under him. I cannot see Sheridan doing that. There's three automatic places and a play off place - that's 4 from 24 or 1 out of every 6. I'd be surprised if we weren't'up there this season.
Top 10 is my prediction and I think we'll get 3rd with games to spare. |

| Have you just had a clear round on Super Mario or summat Hairy? Wildly optimistic. |

| For some intangible reason, I reckon we'll end up 14th. |

| 15th. Defence is reasonable (as long as Berry gets his mojo back, because I don't think anyone else has been good filling in for him) but up front is still a worry as can't see anyone scoring a considerable amount of goals |
