| Quote kerslakesport For those not able to make tonight's match there will be live commentary from Bath. This is an experiment in running our own radio station and this is the first time we have used the kit. You are right! This will not be good. it will be biased, we will not know the names of half of the Bath team let alone Argyle. Half time when nobody knows who has come on will be madness. You are warned. Apart from that we want to check the audio levels and all that stuff so your tolerance will be appreciated. You can pick up the game from 19.40 at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and then go to the BCIR page. It will only work from the time above. Thanks for listening kerslakesport |

In English: 1 Jake Cole; 2 Curtis Nelson, 5 Paul Wotton, 6 Guy Branston, 3 Martin John; 7 Lewis Alessandra, 8 Conor Hourihane, 4 Dominic Blizzard, 11 Luke Young; 9 Reuben Reid, 10 Marvin Morgan. Substitutes: 14 Durrell Berry, 15 Maxime Blanchard, 16 Tyler Harvey, 17 Matt Lecointe, 18 Isaac Vassell, 19 Warren Feeney, 20 Ryan Lane, 21 Jamie Richards. After thrashing the mighty Tiverton 1v0, lets see if we can finally start knocking some goals in against non-league opposition. |

| Saw Argyle draw 0-0 at Bath in the FA cup once, there was a lot of trouble before, during and after the match,a load of Bristol Rovers fans turned up, presumably they were away or had been knocked out or whatever.Lack of goals getting a bit of a worry now-we'll get the usual "its only pre season" line from certain quarters but considering the opposition, four goals in three games doesn't really suggest fluency is going to be a hallmark for a while.More recruitment needed methinks and time is starting to run out.Where was Dickson tonight BTW-thought Shezza said he was going to be involved. |

Brent going for his historic three lowest finishes in argyles history, we will be crap again because no investment is made on the playing side we are just signing cheap substandard players, the happy clappy gimps are deluded we will be crap forever under brent, deepdown most realist's know we will be nowhere near the playoffs, but the grateful's and self promoters have still got whats left of a football club so they will be happy. |

| So a blank against a team two division below us, after scoring just one against a team 4 leagues below us. It looks like the attacking problems we've had for the last couple of seasons have not been solved by the new arrivals. Either Sheridan rethinks his recruitment strategy and brings in some attacking players who can do the business, or we'll be spending another season looking over our shoulder at the wrong end of Division 4. |

| A decent loan will be our only saviour now, feck all this only a friendly crap, if we played a championship side they would stuff us, as we should be doing against teams like Bath. |

| Hardly inspiring so far but not quite the time to start building the Ark just yet.
The usual arguments about lack of investment come out again yet where is the evidence that Argyle lack any compared to anyone else? Hardly ever in this league does a fee change hands for players so no investment there by anyone. What wages are on offer elsewhere compared to Argyle's offerings? None of us know so no evidence there is a lack of it there either. Whether we sign or have signed the right players is the question rather than the money shelled out. Most people seem to have some faith in Sheridan who is picking these players having said they have previously so I guess it's Sheridan Out for the next chant. |

| Brent needs to open his wallet and provide the funds for a proven goalscorer.
Players not property.
Get us promoted then look at a new grandstand. |

Get us promoted then look at a new grandstand. He has clearly stated that he won't do that. That's not why he's here. Deals were probably done with the likes of the Windsor Boys during admin. They have been so consistent in their support that they blatantly believe that they and their sponsors will inherit the shiny, new, boxed in [but theirs] club, when the reluctant bidder has made his money and moved on. |

Oh, I remember it well - me and mate got train up and had a great pub crawl around Bath!! We got to game late and went into the side where the Argyle fans were - didn't realise the side was split half green half blue, no guesses which one we were in!! Right up against the split our mates pointed us out and the Gas fans got tasty - swung a few and managed to get onto the pitch side but cops just put us behind the goal!! I love Bath and now that I live only 30 miles away with good train links often take in a few Rugby games in up there during the season - still one of the best places for a beer but at London prices!! Weird as I am just about to drop my wife to the station for train there for her regional meeting!! |

| 0-0 away at Bath isn't teribble. It's a clean sheet - we've yet to concede a goal. I genuinely don't put any real value on friendlies - they aren't a real guage. Man Utd lost away to a Thai XI the other day - nobody has asked for David Moyes to be sacked.
There's a fair amount of new players - it's about settling them in, getting fit and getting them ready for the first game in August. |
