Was anyone there many years ago when Dougie Baird caught a dog on the pitch and the crowd chanted "Doggie Baird" and gave him a standing ovation? Oh how we laughed!

Or does anyone remember when Chick Brodie - a keeper with Brentford - got bitten by a dog on the pitch that then ended his career?

As you get older you begin to forget what you went upstairs for but remember years ago as if it was yesterday. Mind you, I don't remember much of yesterday.

Clip

In those days teams had to play in stripes or plain because all teams played in black & white.
