So if safe standing was used in say the Devonport End, how much larger would the capacity be and at what cost?

From memory nearly twice the capacity. ( That's of the Devonport End )
I don't know what the cost would be but it would be cheaper than knocking down and rebuilding the Devonport End or building extensions with restricted views.

About time too. I doubt it would cost that much to remove the seating and replace with the proper safe standing crush barriers. Don't want those rail seats they have in Germany though. That would still restrict capacity of the stand too much.

I wonder if it's ever been a possibility that the plans are put on hold for a year and try to have safe standing on the Mayflower Terrace?
It might look slightly odd but doesn't the proposed stand?

Safe standing should lower the cost of attending a football match, it was always cheaper to stand than going in the grandstand where the only seats were, could be the answer to Brent's prayers but will come too late.
