| [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I find this type of ranking of your support bullying and odious. Fair play to those who choose and sacrifice their time and money, it is theirs after all. It seems to be a current trend alongside the exile row. It is distateful. Of course the counter argument is that if you can sacrifice so much time and money to a deadbeat league 2 club you must truly have feck all else to do and no one else who wants to spend time with you. |

| It was started by Newell expecting people to fawn at his loyalty. Fair play to fans who do travel week in week out but it's just another cock measuring thread. Next it will be a "How much have you spent supporting Argyle" thread where nikkkkkkkkkk "reluctantly" announces it's around £1-2 million for him Of course Webb and Newell will then want to estimate how many hours they've dedicated to the cause blah blah blah. Excuse me while I puke. |

| I can imagine what's being said over there by those superfans. They've never had so much attention A Summer onslaught of the ne'er do wells who don't take up a season ticket. Leave them to it. Same old same old. Argyle are old hands at moaning. I had a nice ramble around the Tarka trail area today. I'm a BIG walker, I'm a super fan walker. I think all those occasional Bank holiday walkers innocently enjoying the sun today should be hauled up in front of the beak and summarily executed... it's only right. How dare they only turn up at Whitsun. That'll teach those fickle Brummies and Mancs with their plastic bikes and boots.

| Dunno about cock measuring but it does expose the biggest 'dicks'.
This season I travelled around 5 miles there and back to watch Fletchers team struggle against Pompey yoofs for 85 minutes. With the rest of the season's hopes resting on a crock released from league rivals and a striker from the League of fekn Wales I decided I had better things to do.
I wont attend again until there is a proper Brent/Nool/Webb/Superfan culture 'out' demo. If the shit development plans go ahead it's unlikely I'll ever attend again.
Until any of the above, PAFC is little more than humour, it really is that fecked. |

Indeed, Hairy. I've become pretty disillusioned about a lot of stuff over the past 12 months but ultimately I get more out of going than not going. All clubs have to have SOME ever presents or else they'll go bust. I know this isn't a much liked view on here but I personally find that if I went back when things were good again then it wouldn't feel as good as if I stuck by the club in the sense of supporting and attending regularly the whole time. And I'm not saying everyone SHOULD follow that mantra- like Penz said on one of the threads, naturally there will always be those who are die-hard and those who are less so as demonstrated by his bank holiday walking analogy which I agree with. However, for those of us that DO want to attend through bad times and good then I think it's a bit of a shame to be viewed as part of the problem- but it's an open forum for all opinions, not just those I find palatable I suppose. |

| I can remember being disillusioned with the club many a time from the late 70s through to the 90s, the difference being we voiced our anger. To be fair it never got us far, especially with Dan, but at least we knew where we stood.
The shit we've endured over the last 8 years of football v property and political speak truly disgusts me. The last 2 years which has added superfan culture to the mix really is a step too far. The club would be better off going bust and starting again with real help from a city serving PCC, the only problem being Brent owns the car park, we need it back! |

| I dont understand now and never have the superfan culture of ranking supporters. The c0ck measuring is quite pathetic, the sort of thing you should grow out of once you stop being a teenager.
Ultimately if people oin PASOTI or ATD they are obviously argyle fans (with a couple exceptions such as Lord Tis et al). Why certain people feel the need to split the fanbase further I have no idea.
On a practical point season ticket holders are the financial lifeblood of the club, and should be looked after as a priority. I say this for practical reasons from the clubs point of veiw, as this is where the maority of its income will come from, nothing to do with ST holders being better fans. |

I say this for practical reasons from the clubs point of veiw, as this is where the maority of its income will come from, nothing to do with ST holders being better fans. That is simple. It's divide and conquer. Any division will do. So Janners v Others, ST holders v Others, ATD v Pasoti, PASB v AFT, Knuckledraggers v Educated Wankers. It's all for the same purpose and none of it is for the good of the club. A united fanbase is undefeatable. Therefore disunity must be created at all costs. "Where there is harmony let there be discord" as somebody once nearly said. And Newell is just the bloke to blunder about and create bad feeling all over the shop. It's like Niermoller's "first they came for the socilists" but here first they came for the Educated Wankers, the voluntary, programme columnists, the unheralded coach... In case you have never read it here it is. - Quote :
- First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me. |
