| Standard "design" coach width is 2.5m, so from cross section above the "road" section is 5m width tops. High ways agency stipulates 7.3m minimum road width to allow for passing as below and there would be issues with the bollards being directly on edge of the road. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]They may try and get around by having it as a private road and having a 10mph speed limit but the HSE also stipulate minimum 7.3m width. | Stuart_C over the way is very clued up on this. You can feel his despair at the proposed solution to the traffic and lack of detail about it.
He's made umpteen interesting (in a geeky way) observations about access not least how service vehicles will (might) need an enlarged turning area behind the Barn Park End that could potentially eat into parkland.
Though if you are Andy_S (friend of Nikkkkk and snapping poodle of bore) its not an opinion worthy of discussion just a slap down. |

Stuart_C quoted Mr Brent on visitors
Mr Brent hopes for 2,250,000 extra visitors attracted to the HHP development each year.
Over 6,000 extra visitors a day and all the service vehicle traffic required to support the 15 (FIFTEEN) retail units, Cinema, Hotel, School and not forgetting the non-matchday visitors to HP..
They cannot seriously run with the underground car park access road as it stands.

| PL2 Faced being made to look like a total cnut again. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]The figures Mr Brent is quoting are accurate because he wouldn't put figures out that he wasn't sure the research had been done on them? Except the 8k budget. Ah but that was Ridsdale's figure and Brent just went with it, AND if we had a run at the play-offs that season, the figure would be spot on We didn't know we were feckin safe until 15 minutes from the end of the last game of the season you dopey cnut! Run at the feckin play-offs. That prick jumps into every other post to stick up for Brent and the shitty plans and when he gets shown up he just makes up the rules as he goes along. Newell and Postey taking shifts now to get the message across to the minions. |

| Budgets can be adjusted and often are. You've obviously never managed a budget mr 125+1.
This road is going to put the ground inside a roundabout then?
2 1/4 million visitors. Are you feckin having a laugh. Ha ha ha ha ha. Someone should tell Brent that Mecca isn't the one he's googled - Muslims don't travel to visit a bingo hall.

| Everyone involved at the time knew that Ridsdale had fudged the figures in order to obtain the golden share. Although not quite as fudged as this - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] - £3.3 Billion shortfall!!!!

| Again, you've not dealt with budgets then.
Imagine this. Lower league makes the semi-final of the FA Cup, does their budget increase, stay the same or decrease? Have a guess. Go on. |
