| There are hundreds of examples and they grow by the day.
Brent and the scabs have said the following -
"Brent believes there is ‘very strong enthusiasm’ for the plans for the grandstand among Argyle fans.
An open meeting was staged by the Plymouth Argyle Supporters’ Board before the Devon derby against Exeter City at the Citybus Social Club on March 30 and Brent and his advisers were present to talk about the project.
Brent reckoned that apart from representatives of the club, the PASB and the Argyle Fans’ Trust there were only 11 people in attendance.
He said: “During the administration, where there were matters of concern, several hundred fans would turn up to public meetings, and we had a very small number on this occasion.
“Once we have shown what we are doing, we have articulated it properly and people understand the benefits to the club, I think the Green Army will be incredibly excited by it and very positive. Do I think some people will remain negative? Yes, I’m sure that they will.
“Whatever you propose, when we have so many passionate fans with diverse interests I don’t think we are ever going to keep 100 per cent of them happy.”
I thought the WHOLE point of the PASB and the AFT was to represent popular opinion of the fanbase. You can't just discount their attendance at the meetings.
Now we see why the PASB is club controlled and the AFT was and still is marginalised totally.
The orchestrated reponse on scab Webb's twitter and the multi accounting club website brainwashing the dimwitted Pasoti sheep do NOT represent popular opinion of the fanbase.
It's all done - the club is fecked for good. Well done scabs. |

| There really needs to be a massive leaflet drop with the whole dirty story told and Brent needs to be kicked out of Plymouth! |

| Scab Webb wrote this. Anyone care to highlight the lies and cheating from the Deepthroating Windsor Boy?
I wasn't going to make a comment on the proposed GS on pasoti - I have been enjoy the internet forum semi-retirement
But...
It really saddens me that from behind a keyboard people can be so angry and passionate yet when they are offered the chance to vent those frustrations in person they don't show.
For those claiming to represent fans views... You look at the forums there are a majority against, you look at twitter there are a majority for, you have a public meeting and 11 fans show up. How anyone can take a fans view from that I don't know.
For those (womble) attacking me personally - the offer from last season to have a chat still stands mate. It is sad that you have to resort to bashing away behind a keyboard.
My own personal view on the GS - Of course I want it bigger. I am a dreamer I am an Argyle nut I want 25,000. But I am fed up of false promises. I am fed up of delays and quite frankly at the moment we cannot compete with teams like Chesterfield because of our lack of 24/7 facilities. if we are to push on something has to be done.
James Brent hasn't mislead anyone. We were told that this Club would be run sustainably. If you take the Clubs 126 year history and lay it out then he has pitched the capacity in an area that any sensible person running a club on a sustainable basis would do. He has also included an expansion plan to edge us over 20,000 when needed.
I loved the plans from the working group. In fact (and those with their little hidden agendas won't like this) I worked very hard behind the scenes to make sure those guys got the chance to show their plans.
I love a row and I love a battle. I also like to judge the facts rather than just fire off an abusive ill informed internet post.
We have a proposal on the table that will give us between £1-2m additional income per season, improve our current facilities, attract new players (see Branstons tweet), finally complete the stadium and give us room for expansion.
Alternatively we can get in a row with the Council, delay the plans, get in a row with the residents, come up with a plan that cannot be financed (without asking someone to again dip into their own pockets) and be back where we have been for the last 10 years - with a 3rd rate stand and a rotting terrace.
Onto the twitter thing - it is only a bit of fun. Linking into the #plymouth2017 campaign. Raising the profile of the City etc. Nothing major. Doesn't mean I am in love with the plans, doesn't mean I don't want a bigger GS but it means I love my Club and my City and I am happy to press the re-tweet button a few times.
I am sure that things still have to play out on this one and the Akkeron team were clear recently that the initial planning application would not definitely reflect all that happens in the end so I am sure the AFT WG can continue to work with the Club and push the fans views forward.
I love the internet and in fact think when the discussion is football related this site is brilliant. I just wish people would treat each other as they would if face to face.

With his IP matching greenman if i recall That's what we thought but a computer expert pointed out that may have been wrong - or may not have been but basing it upon the information we had would have been a mistake. |

Its virtually impossible even behind a proxy! |

| I love it when Webb and Newell play the keyboard warrior card. Webb has used different accounts to attack the Trust that he helped to bring to power throughout the M7 debacle. You didn't use your Chris Webb moniker or the Pres. did you Chris? What do you feel about Brent using a sizeable chunk of the footprint of Home Park to build property that helps him and not the club? How is that sustainable? Believe me you wouldn't want to meet me face to face for some time, you really wouldn't. |

- Grandstand will be central to Higher Home Park proposals
03/05/2013
A new image was today released detailing the proposed new grandstand for Plymouth Argyle Football Club which forms the centrepiece of wider regeneration plans for Higher Home Park.
The replacement for the outdated and tired Mayflower stand at Argyle’s Home Park stadium will provide a high quality new grandstand for the club – complete with the facilities to generate new match day and non-match day income to re-invest in the team and put the club on a more sustainable financial footing.
In March, Akkeron Group launched a consultation on its £50 million proposals to transform Higher Home Park into a sporting and leisure destination unrivalled in the South West of England, building on the legacy started with the opening of the nearby successful Life Centre.
Included within the proposals are a first class competition-standard ice arena, hotel, restaurants and retail opportunities and one of the largest cinemas in the South West region with 10 screens (including an IMAX).
There has been a high level of interest in the scheme, with very encouraging feedback received from local people and Plymouth Argyle fans – including through meetings with fans’ groups – which has been taken into account in refining the designs for the grandstand prior to a planning application being submitted shortly.
Some of the key changes include adopting a two-tier design. The architects’ impression shows office/hospitality/club retail areas at each end of the stand and modifications to the supporting roof structure to provide an uninterrupted view from all seats.
James Brent, Chairman of Plymouth Argyle and Akkeron Group, said: “We have been very pleased at the way in which fans and the public have responded to our proposals and worked constructively with us to help evolve the design of the grandstand.
“It is exciting to see the designs develop into the image which we’re looking at today. The grandstand will provide a fitting venue for the club and a centrepiece to the wider regeneration of Higher Home Park, with the opportunities this provides to enhance the Central Park area, improve facilities for local people and visitors, create jobs and boost the city economy.” |
