The Championship is a realistic expectation for Argyle and the last day drama just shows what a league that is.

The number of clubs who regularly get 20,000+ gates is usually around half of the league and a third of clubs in there are realistically Premier League clubs in all but name.

We will never be able to compete with these sides under James Brent who will make far, far more money out of buying Argyle than it would have taken for us to be competetive.

I don't care if we never make the Premier League but what I do object to is the fact that reaching the 2nd tier of English football, or in the top 43 clubs in English football, is about as likely as Scotland winning the World Cup!

Top 43 teams is unreachable for a club the size of Plymouth because of the greed of a series of businessmen who were after one thing and that was personal gain.

It isn't entirely James Brent's fault that the top 43 is not going to be regularly achievable, but it sure as shit is his fault that he isn't doing enough to repair the wrongdoings of others for a pittance in compared to what he will gain out of us.

Greedy fatcat Brent assisted by the socialist Trade Union official, you couldn't make it up No

Hang your head in shame James Brent. Hang your head in shame Chris Webb. Hang your heads in shame every one of you working class people who have and are helping this greedy bastard plunder the riches and leave us hamstrung for the rest of Home Park's life.

FU CK OFF THE LOT OF YOU

I am watching this today the likes of Hull, Watford, i could go on.
The supposed good news yesterday that we are getting eternally boxed in in a substandard mini-stand by an ice rink, we are allegedly talking to a child killer as becoming our next keeper, and a semi decent manager has signed a 3 year contract.
This is the news to re-joice ffs? Twisted Evil

Wake me up when this nightmare is over

Whilst I would welcome a play off position, unless Sheridan signs half a dozen wonder players, including the likes of Jason Banton then I cant see it happening.Defensively if Bhas re-signs and we remain injury free then, despite having no strength in depth,we might get away with it.However the midfield as it currently stands is woeful, there is no playmaker, and no midfield destroyer.Luke Young and Conor Hourihane are just not physical enough players to control the midfield. They are both poor in the air and are easily brushed off the ball in physical duels. Then you have Wottsie who may bleed green, but his best years are far behind him,and Curtis Nelson who doesn't inspire me at all in a midfield role.As for strikers we have at the present Harvey,Le Cointe,Chadwick and Feeney. Not going to trouble too many defences are that lot.Strikers hunt best in pairs and unless Sheridan can sign a modern day Mariner and Rafferty partnership then I feel we will again struggle to score enough goals. So not at all optimistic at the moment.Early doors though.
