When the non football man, ex-banker, property developer and reluctant bidder was weighing up all the pros and cons whilst the club was in admin and indeed after admin who was advising him on all things footie? It wasn't just Ridsdale pre-admin was it? And it certainly couldn't have been Ridsdale afterwards. Just trying to work out who would have told him that Fletcher was the perfect choice immediately after Reidy's departure when he was finalising his takeover and then told him he was still the man for most of this season?

Nobody told him , Fletcher got the job because he was cheap. Argyle will go nowhere until Brent is gone.

Possible it was Brent acting alone I suppose but given his self-acknowledged footballing naiveté I think he simply must have sought advice - but who from?
