Quote :
#Argyle have already sold enough tickets to guarantee a 10,000+ attendance for the Devon derby against Exeter on Saturday. #pafc

I know it's Easter holidays and I know it's Exeter

But

Give them a reason to come and they will come

And fill a 17,000 seater stadium or 20,000 seater stadium

Quite right, making the Senior Greens sit through a talk from Mike Mullarky is a right liberty what with himself being a dyed in the wool City fan.

Are they queuing round the block down at Vue, or at Reel(?) the old ABC? I don't think they are, certainly not when I've been lately. Opening another will simply mean one of the other two will shut, thus negating any minimum wage jobs that may have been created.

The Ice rink is a half-arsed effort too. If they were going to build an Arena that could seat 4-5000 people and put together a team with the intention of joining the National League, I'd be properly impressed and would get right behind it. But no, Brent has stated there'll be no National Hockey team, and a pissy-arsed 1500 seats confirms the totally 'village' level of events he's got planned for it.

Heh heh, it is lump of steel and concrete with a roof and some empty green plastic seats, it is exactly fit for purpose, it releases Brent from one of the few obligations he entered into with the council at as low an opportunity cost as possible, simples.

Get over yourselves.

Nobody else was in a position to do the deal Brent did at the time with PCC, whether that was because he was the best option or because the whole thing was as bent as the proverbial nine bob note from minute one.

Bottom line is you are still getting something for nothing when without Harry Potter the Big Gay Bear ensemble might well be in charge and you would have as much chance of getting a new stand as us poor saps at ECFC have.

Would haves, could haves, ifs, buts and maybes don't make plans and break ground.

And now we have it. Nool does not like the way that the previous vote went so he conspires with all his other buddies to create another poll, a few pm sent here and there to get his like minded Brent arsekissing chums to get the vote to run in their favor and hey presto, they claim a fair and Representative vote!!
Fair my arse and i smell another rat, if we do end up with this just remember that feckin MANSFIELD of the Blue Square will have a bigger main stand then us and that is a fact, if this truly is the level of ambition for the PAFC of the future then they can kiss my ass, i will never set foot in the place again as we will never expand beyond the proposed capacity which alludes to an eternity of mediocrity.
The Wankers on PASOTI with their snouts in the trough who voted in favor of this abomination in the latest suspect poll truly will get the club they deserve if this crap gets the go-ahead.
Nool,Webb, X Isle , Hooper, and many others with their heads in Brents sphincter you will swim in a lake of fire for this you dirty rotten stinking corrupt bastards.

And now i see the original poll that voted massively against Brents sneaky plan has now has strangely disappeared in favor of the new one which was "engineered" by the fat controller himself.
That place truly is as bent as a nine bob note

The one I don't get is X-Isle. He appears to be an articulate, intelligent individual with his heart in the right place, but seems to have a complete blind spot about the Reluctant Bidder. He is adamant that the Reluctant Bidder is a "good man" and castigates skeptics with strawman arguments, such as claiming that they must be blindly contemptuous of all businessmen, rather than being specifically turned off by a former senior executive of one of the most corrupt, venal, ruthless and avaricious institutions in the world. It's not as if Brent's former firm was involved in minor peccadilloes - bringing down the world economy throgh greed and shyster behaviour, money-laundering for corrupt third-world politicians and funding the civil wars in Sierra Leone and Liberia is more their style.

Now it could be that Brent was something akin to the Robert Redford character in "Brubaker"; a fine, upstanding, morally courageous crusader, battling against a corrupt system and desperate to protect the downtrodden from the mendacity, brutality and greed of his superiors, colleagues and subordinates. However I must say I have my doubts.

By X-Isle's own admission, he knows nothing about Brent and has never even met him, so I fail to understand how he and those of his ilk formed their glowing opinions of the Reluctant Bidder, other than the fact they believe everything he says.

The most curious thing is that when the sh*t first hit the fan, X-Isle was one of the most eloquent and vociferous critics of Contacts Riddler - IIRC that was when he formulated his mantra of honesty, integrity and whatnot. This was at a time when the circumstantial evidence against the Riddler was not vastly different than that against the Reluctant Bidder's association with the shoddy behaviour of Citigroup and when Contacts had not been convicted of anything. (I would argue that what the Riddler did pales into insignificance against the misery Citigroup has inflicted upon hundreds of millions of people). Then you have the fact that Brent was obviously close to the Riddler at the start of the administration and that it is scarcely believable that they had no prior knowledge of each other, given Ridsdale's long association with Citibank.

This Brentite cult is just bizarre.

I don't think X-Isle's ramblings are very much different to many of the party-liners and faithful who hypnotically follow and obey their 'leaders', almost religiously. He was one of many who blindly followed all the previous regimes at Argyle and shouted down dissenters, despite overwhelming evidence of malpractice and idiotic boardroom decisions, until it was too late. They're not too dissimilar to moonies in many respects or, perhaps better, the witting or unwitting members of the entourages the corrupt American tv evangelists. Most odd, if not a little sinister.

Let me think about it scratch

Meanwhile more great news in that Forza Verde have planned a BIG display for Saturday so our Scummer friends are in for a real treat.

There were a few days about 4 years ago when the toxic Citi group/bank nearly bankrupted the globe, if the government (who are just as corrupt) hadnt bailed them out. We are very close to the very same again, only this time there is no cash in the till. You're not suggesting our banker is anything to do with those types?! God forbid, he looks such a nice guy!
I really like your understanding of the mob.

Pasoti has been to the EU class of voting. If at first you don't get the right result hold the vote again with different skewed questions until you get the 'right' result and then implement the same corrupt undemocratic policy wich no-one wants. The question is blatantly designed to scare the less intelligent into thinking if we don't accept brent's abomination which is the absolute bare minimum required to get his squalid little HHP 'development' done then we'll get nothing - forever. Not getting brent's fourth rate 'stand' now means we still have a chance to build something properly in the future when brent finally slithers off and is replaced by someone with class and vision who realises the true potential of PAFC. Doing nothing now is by far the best option in the longer run.

BRENT OUT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very true, unfortunately it is run by one playground bully and his cohorts. I was banned by Newell (under the guise of the mod room of pasoti which we know are one and the same) for being "hard work", this hard work I created for said mod room was asking questions like "how much debt will we be in?", "how much money exactly is Brent putting into this project?", "do you think that the club will be able to cope with the debt re payments and the day to day running of the football club, whilst being competitive in league 2?" "does he have any plans to develop the ground and surrounding land and is the profit for the club or himself?" The mod room mantra has been consistent I will give you that, "this man has morals, integrity and honour! If you had met this man as I had you would realise this as well. Trust Brent, not like you were asked to with Stapleton and Todd as they misled us, Brent is the one true saviour, believe and you will find the promised land!"
It's almost the birth of a new cult religion with the main aim being that you make the tv evangelist mega wealthy to gain some small recognition, it would be funny or sad if it weren't for our football club in the midst of it all. X Isle has simply backed the wrong horse unfortunately a very erudite poster has turned into another poodle with his unwavering support of a corrupt regime, why is it wrong to question and try to negotiate a better stand for our club? Is that so bad?
Wankers.

The funny thing is even with the new heavily loaded poll it's still almost neck and neck whether people would rather have feck all than the shite stand currently on offer. The silent majority out in force lol.

I just looked at said poll. How f*cking naive do those corrupt, deceitful wankers over there think people are. Any dissenting opinion is being trivialized and passed off as some kind of nonsense by Piggy and De-liar.

That poll is a f*cking disgrace. I bet when piggy and bum-lick, one liner special, sit on the fence De-Liar have the result they want, they'll run off to Brenty and tell him, 'Here you go my master, everyone loves your plan for a new grandstand' Go build it, and f*ck what the few dissenters think.

These people need stopping, fast, and for good.

I just can't beleive these no-mark f*ckwits off the street can suddenly dictate and influence a naive millionaire on how to run a football club! I'm feckin spitting horshit here. Evil or Very Mad
