| But he's just another ordinary fan lol.
The whole bunch of them deserve each other. I'm still surprised that there is no provision for hosting the fanfests included unless the GT'S buy a separate property! Nice way to thank the people who have raised so much cash. |

There were two tiers when I saw the plans, and I assumed it will still was.
I have seen the plans, there were two tiers, and I was impressed with what I saw.
I love the design of the two tiered stand, it looks great.
As a normal fan why is he seeing the plans in the first place? Because he was the voice of the fans on the grandstand development committee. Him and Mark Russell of the GTs anyway. I asked that very question when I went up and that was the exact answer. Ian Newell does not speak for me thats for certain. What gave him that right to anyway!
He doesn't speak for me either. |

| If the GT's have to build their own clubhouse, surely most of the money made is going to go back to paying the mortgage on it?
Also...
Is the mental midget serious about having a feckin Light House incorporated into the design because it would make Home Park unique?
And this fool is giving advice?
I have never ever heard of something so stupid in all my life.
No wonder this club is fecked.
Meanwhile.. Anybody know how much leg room the seats have - or how big a seat is, and then we can work it out? |

| Each row is definitely 840 cm deep. I expect the seats will be standard size like the ones in the horseshoe. |

I knew it was something like that. 0.84m or 2' 10" if you prefer. |

0.84m or 2' 10" if you prefer. Well... Having just got a chair with a 15 inch (380 mm) seat, and having put the back 840 mm from the wall... I can tell you that it is very cramped - surely they are not going to replicate the current leg space in that stand?

| I have.
As you have stated - it gives the depth of the row, it doesn't give the dimensions of the seats that go in them.
This is rather important.
A question for our reps. |

| You should be able to work it out from a scale drawing without the dimensions written down, I will cast my eye over it when I have a minute. |

| I see that Newell is trolling the "Grandstand - Trust action / petition" thread on pasoti.
It's all very predictable and of course, he'll be allowed to get away with it. |

| So IJN is proposing a large erection in the corner of the ground. How very phallic. Freud would have a field day with that. |

| 34 inches is a bloody good seat pitch in cattle class on an airplane. Only a select few give you more than 31. There, that's my useful contribution to the debate. |

Some airlines I've been on only give you 27 inches and that was fooking cramped. The seats at the Emirates are the best I have sat in . Plenty of leg room to. |

| What strikes me is that Newell, Webb, Jameson, De Lar, Hooper, etc.etc. and all those who would appear to be afraid of jeopardising their new closeness to the inner circle at Home Park have all refrained from any criticism of this underwhelming proposal. Nobody will convince me that if they were all on the outside looking in they would have a very different approach to all this. Newell can't keep his opinions to himself on anything generally but has become very adept at it if it could be anything that might upset his new besty friend. The same with the others. I find it incredulous to be honest that all of these, who like to think of themselves as super fans are happy to go along with a proposal that limits the scale of their clubs ambition to barely 14,000 home fans for a game of any moderate size which is what it amounts to with away allocation and segregation. I hope they are at least voicing some concern behind the scenes or it will speak volumes for whether club or self comes first. |

After all JB's plans are not much different to the Heaney lead plans and look at the outcry they lead to stop that! hypocrites the lot of them! |
