IJN Says...

One thing I will say for IJN, he monopolises the headlines on here. He is the subject of nearly every post.

Mike, I wasn't a mod then but I would say that discussion should stay in the confidentiality of the mod-room unless Cerbs returns here and gives permission.

I may not agree with a lot of what Cerbs has to say but in my view he is honourable in what he does. A wind-up merchant but no more than that.

Amazing how one man can be so universally popularly unpopular - if you follow my drift. To be fair though with him it is a bit like shooting fish in barrel.

Cerbs just wants to be someone. He doesn't care where. It could be through nool/club. the trust, Pasoti mod, ATD mod etc etc. One thing is certain, had he not lost the election he would have done his level best to please nool and curry favour by silencing the overseas duo.

What a surprise you've come on to post that ..... reminds me of the behaviour of someone else.

Fair play Knecht - it's just that from what I can gather his nose was put out of joint by a mod vote on ATD that didn't go his way and now seems to be all over Newell. I guess I'm just trying to gauge reaction - in a roundabout way - if the Newell files were to be published again.

I'd like to see them again.

Well, I've just returned from a couple of weeks in Spain, (where I played some excellent golf by the way - and yes I have the makings of a sun tan), to read this, and the corresponding thread on pasoti.

Newell's antics make me ashamed to be Plymouthian, the very essence of a thick, nasty, small minded janner.

And we're still joint bottom of the entire football league I see, which really is the most important thing. Newell craves attention, that's part of his 'disorder', he just isn't worth the bother. He's a nobody who thinks he's somebody. He never will be.

As much as I disagree with Cerbs hypocritical stance the record must be put straight. Sorry Knecht!

From memory, Cerbs wasn't the only one that didn't think it was a good idea, as such. Me, Cerbs and several others in the mod team were against ATD having a direct link to the information in the Newell Files, Cerbs was not the only one as Tring would have you believe.

My personal opinion was that the Newell Files could be published but not Newell's Flkr account in whole. I did not and still do not agree with having anyone's unattached personal life splattered all over the Internet and Newell's Flkr account contained a great deal of personal family stuff.

Neither did I want ATD to have an agenda, ATD was created for all to use, even Newell if he wished and his and others views allowed to be made public. By "officially" linking ATD owners (mods & admin) it automatically provided ATD with an agenda. However, from memory NONE of us were against having the Newell Files (not Newell's Flkr account!) posted by a user.

I tend to agree with Knecht that Cerbs is a wind up merchant, nothing more. His problem is that his bitterness against a few on ATD has spilled out so that he now directs his bitterness at ATD in general. I quite liked Cerbs as a bloke but I no longer take him seriously and I think that most pasoti and ATD users would agree (the silent majority! )

Rather than nitpick, the archived thread will show exactly how the public flickr account was discussed and dealt with.

I have no objection to it being reproduced here in full.

My main concern, GOB, is that the views of another mod should not be shared publicly. I have no problem with an individual stating what their own view was but not to post another's. As soon as Tring chose to continue to continue his war against Cerbs that went out the window.

It is no wonder he coseyed up to Newell, Pasoti and the gang.
It was epic when he lost the election though..dummies getting spat out left right and center.

As has been said many a time Tring, I have nothing against that thread being made public providing other threads that also contained the conversation are also made public so as a balanced view is provided.

We both know however that the mods won't do that because they don't have everyone's permission to do so, it's a bit like the silent majority thing.

There are 17 pages saved on that thread. It should give a clear enough picture.

He just can't help himself can he. Why pick on the Trust at every opportunity. He refers to a meeting held last night - this was to discuss the GT Fun Day. Not surprisingly Andy Symons was also there as chair of the Trust. The GTs need as much help as they can get to make this event a success and Andy has already sent a long, detailed email to people who have been trust volunteers in the past, encouraging them to get involved in the event in a wide variety of ways. Not a mention of personal spats or personality clashes - just trying to get on with things.

Once Brent offered the keys to the sweet shop to these people, we've witnessed all manner of bullying and devious behaviours.
