| I can remember when Gob took sides with Cerbs when he lost the election spitting out accusations left right and center. Funny how some are economical with the truth

| As the site matures, is there an intention to raise the 'minimum post' eligibility, to vote? It wouldn't take long for throbbers to sign up and knock up a couple hundred posts, for example.

| Perhaps a little too early but due to circumstances we ended up with 2 elections last year with 3 new mods elected at the second. I think it would be eminently sensible to stagger this year's (and subsequent ones) to April and October. This allows good continuity going forward.
To answer earlier queries, the constitution allows Mods to stand and serve for 3 years as a maximum, if they're daft enough.
Mod elections are the bedrock of our ethos and I'd urge all eligible members to give serious consideration to putting themselves forward, either in April or the next one.
ETA Good point for discussion Czarky. |

If the election is for three mods you can cast a vote for up to three candidates. If you want you can just cast one vote for one candidate or one each for two candidates. Or none at all if you think they're all wankers |

| Angry you will need to do some posting between now and election call as hairy has posted 1192 times to date. Saying that, with nearly 700 posts since january, I would say you might just do it! _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! | I like the idea of staggering it to May and October as May and July are pretty close, once the May elections are done then I think it'd be good to open it up for discussion whether us poor July souls stick it out a bit longer to make it a bit more spread out.
Charlie, Knecht and Chem will all stand again though in May because they love my cups of tea in the mod room.
They'll miss it too much if they go. |

| I hearby give notice of my intention not to stand for Mod. I don't think I could be firm enough and keep you fuckers under control. I do really appreciate the job you guys do though and I know that I am too unhinged to be considered. If anyone needs a campaign manager though I recks I could twist a few arms to get some extra votes |
