Is it PAFC policy to attack the Independent fans trust? Has mr Brent advocated this (as three of his officials are now involved?)

We have A director posting as Iddesleigh Green/ the nightfly attacking a trust board member and telling him to support Man Utd. This director has also attacked players who were at the time employed by the club.

We have the President admitting to using several multi accounts to attack the Fans' Trust, where he once made his name.

And we have the chauffeur come directors' box tour guide setting up many pasoti accounts, giving the passwords to anyone with a gripe against the trust and who instigated the attacks from deep throat, Windsor boy etc by announcing he wouldn't be renewing his trust membership.

That's 3 of Brent's advisors/ representatives/ fwiends who are doing their best to undermine a democratic and independent fans body. There must be some media interest in this as its as sad as a plot line from corrie (obviously not the local ass kissing journos). Perhaps Private Eye would be interested?

How does he deserve complimenting. The moral standards of some of these cretins beggars belief. As somebody else said, 6,000 alleged members on Pasoti and a tiny handful of mates is all who can be bothered to try and back him for his belated, half hearted, still playing the victim, looking for the sympathy vote, full of bullshit and reluctant apology.

The normal pasoti-ites need to push for change on that site as some of the current mod team are corrupt and very poor mods. I would encourage someone to start a thread called "Pasoti Mod Elections"- it will probably lead to a ban for the poster though

Those that cared enough to post about this in the first place have ceased posting or are unable to post. Womble appears a lone voice and to those who haven't followed this situation and seen it develop, the view of him as a trouble maker will be inevitable as it looks like 1 vs 10 on there now. The average member on pasoti is unlikely to veer away from the main page so this stuff doesn't have a wide audience amongst the membership there so a vote/election would be as relevant as the PASB vote.

Sad but true.

IJN, if he stood would no doubt get all the votes from the average poster anyway as he gets more stickied threads than everyone else put together. He wouldn't stand but Imde that point to support the point above.

I asked Newell that question on Exeweb over a year ago. I suggested that if the Argyle online community was to end the bitterness, Pasoti, as the oldest /largest forum, should become open and democratic.
He supposedy went back to the mods and reported back that they were against that suggestion by 8 votes to 1 , with his good self abstaining. He went on to say that the Pasoti mods did not do democracy and they liked things the way they are.

These are the emails we received from Chris Webb after he was banned from ATD after using the Greenman account. They relate to a different issue then those being discussed on Pasoti, but they do put Chris' "confession" on Pasoti in a more realistic light (ie complete bullshit)

Hmmmm - you all know what I think of Chris Webb and his deceit BUT - I'm not convinced that publishing his private emails to the ATD Mods, after he expressly asked them not to be made public, is the right thing to do.

I totally understand why it has been done in the heat of the moment but at the very least certain parts should be redacted I feel.

Just my personal thoughts and observations.

Mike, I completely see where you are coming from and you are probably right.

My issue is that I have had countless threats of legal action from both Webb and Newell. Both of them have been exposed as liars and I am feckin furious that I have had to waste my time even considering their claims.

Shortly after we received that email Webb phoned me to complain further. A robust conversation followed where Chris again denied using multi accounts and proxies (this was also the infamous conversation where he told me about Newell/Pasoti/AAA pass). He again threatened Police and legal action.

At the end of the conversation I did consider whether I wanted to continue to be involved with ATD. What if things did end up in court? I don't want to lose my house - I was on paternity leave at the time with my then 2 week old son. I didn't need the grief. Later on I had Newell on the phone wanting my contact details so he could sue ATD for £100k.

We all know the "confessions" on Pasoti are just the tip of the iceberg and nothing more then an attempt at damage limitation. I actually think this is more damaging to them in the long run rather then just coming clean - so carry on lads, there is a lot more mileage in this yet.

My posting of the emails was done in the heat of the moment but it is because I am so fecking furious about the whole situation. I have asked the mods to delete the post if I have overstepped the mark.

Fair play Frank - I completely understand your position - I see that the Mods have removed huge swathes of his emails now, that is the right thing to do.

The detail of the private emails were removed out of respect to The President and his role within the club. We just wish Chris Webb himself would show the same degree of respect to that role.

The threats of legal action, though almost certainly empty bluster, were of concern not only to Frank. He has had to take the full brunt of it all. It's no surprise that his response has been strong!

I am sure that ATD gets things wrong. I know some posters on here go over the top. In my opinion, some of it makes for uncomfortable reading. BUT the duplicity of people in positions of symbolic or de facto power at the club or on pasoti is far worse. Yes, they have done lots for the club but that cannot be a justification for everything attached to it. It cannot justify their other behaviours.

What's at least as worrying is that Mr Brent & the rest of the board as well as the moderators on pasoti continue to turn a blind eye to it all.

Chris Webb has at last admitted to using the Deep Throat account to stick up for his mate Wozzer. But if Chris was such a good mate, and really cared for Wozzer's feelings, why did he post using Windsor Boy (and I suspect others) criticising the trust at a time when Wozzer was chair.

Goodness knows, Dingle. It all just doesn't quite add up. As usual. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to spot the flaws in this god-awful, please-will-it-just-end scheming going on.

The only time we thought Sean (pilgrim_pete) could have been Greenman was when Nool and Webb dropped him in it when confronted by GreenJock. Even then, it seemed unlikely (why would Sean have any desire to threaten Jock's family?).

'Webby', the proven liar, 100% posted from a very rare proxy server with identical tracings to some posts from Greenman. We'd share that information more clinically with the PASOTI moderator team, but for DPA reasons as well as the fact that the vast majority of PASOTI moderators are sinister, corrupt bastards there would be no point.

We've also been told by Nool that Greenman could be Ponty when pissed, and have our suspicions due to the various locations of the account that it was another multi account with multiple users being handed the password at any one time, but the only person we know to have used it is the disgraced Club President.
