Here's something for those of us who just can't understand the supposed incompetence of this administration period.
One thing not mentioned at all by Mssrs Ridsdale, Heaney, Brent, is the fact that the football creditor rule is back in court again in less than 8 weeks at the behest of HMRC.
People such as David Gill at Manchester United have admitted in conversation that the rule may well have had it's day. If the rule were to be overturned, £3.5m would be up for grabs here, and there would be nothing the FA or League could do about it in the way of sanctions against Argyle.
So, put yourselves in the shoes of the likes of Ridsdale, Brent, or the ex owners , given their history ?
What do you think they would try and do ?
1.... Pay up the £3.5m now to those overpaid footballers, and buy the club asap ?
2.....Bleat more excuses and delay any purchase until November's court case ( as always intended some would say ) for one last speculative punt and the chance to give those overpaid employees a bloody nose ?
