| Finally, I believe this guy is coming to something. Was a big basher last season, but this season he has been my player of the year so far. Some quality not out of place in the higher leagues. It was clear yesterday Sheridan was trying to mould him in to himself as a player, supporting the strikers and doing the dirty work when he had too.
Why is the woeful Luke Young getting interest from West Brom and Arsenal, Hourihane is clearly scores ahead.
Keep it up. |

| Hourihaine has some talent , until now mostly stiffled by the previous manager , but hardly player of the year. That would be Paris Cowan-Hall for me.The critcism of Luke Young is unfair , dont forget that he has also been mismanaged by the previous incompetent manager and coaching staff. |

| Hourihane is becoming a decent player, mark my words if Young doesn't achieve success here he will somewhere else, he shows glimpses of real quality amidst a bunch of heavy cloggers in this league and he is very young, give him a chance. |

5 goals from right wing in a struggling team in January. He'll be off soon. |

Have only seen Young play once at Oxford last season and as you say, he showed glimpses of the qualities needed in m/f. The last year can't have been ideal for him to develop. I see that the 'headless chicken' is still doing ok in the Premier League |

| I heard Sheridan being interviewed on the radio this morning and he gave the impression he rated Hourihane but needs help on the attacking part of his game (which JS said he'd help him with). |

| Someone needs to take Hourihane to one side and tell him to stop hitting it sideways and backwards every-time we are in a strong position to launch a counter attack. |

| He is a good player i feel if he played alongside a midfielder who is defensive minded a younger nalis type would be perfect who allows Conor to get forward more oftern he could be our new attack midfielder we have been crying out for since friio left. |

| He's our best player in my opinion, gets stuck in, can pass the ball, scores a fair few and has a 'footballing brain' when Fletcher said he wanted to build the team around him, it didnt surprise me at all. Shame that didnt work! |

Better the backwards or sideways completed pass than the fifty yard speculative hit that'll result in losing possesion, IMO. |
