Manager Dean Holdsworth has confirmed the departure of striker Guy Madjo. The 28 year old Cameroon born player joined the club on a permanent basis in January 2012 and, in total, scored eight goals in 23 appearances. He has recently returned after a three month loan spell at fellow npower League 2 side Plymouth Argyle.

I liked him. Some people, Fletcher included, seemed to rule him out due to his defensive weaknesses.

But it doesn't really occur to me that our main target man should need to track back; so long as he's not actively avoiding putting a foot in and closing down space - something he did in the times I saw him - he should have been left alone to do his job.
