| Didn't somebody field a player against us recently that wasn't on the team sheet? I am sure Sparko mentioned it? |

| Bradford lead until the last couple of minutes but Vermaalen equalises. Arsenal playing a pretty much full strength side with Sagna, Mertesacker, Gibbs, Vermaalen, Cazorla, Ramsey, Wiltshire, Gervhino and Podolski all starting and Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Chamakh all coming off the bench. Just about to go to extra-time in front of 23k. Oh for that to be us again! Possibly worrying tweet from Alex Macdonald which might suggest Bradford have made an offer for him as well? [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Closer to his home and child, almost certainly better wages than we could offer him I would think, and of course more ambition and a much better chance of getting out of this dogshit league. |

Argyle scored ONE GOAL in the last two shootouts....WOW.
Bradford team value..... £7500.
Arsenal team value.....£63.5 million. |

| Good couple of days for Bradford then. I see the Cheltenham chairman has said the money earned from their FA Cup run could be used to fund more players, after last season shelling out £70k on a player after a similar cup run. Now we fecked it up in the first round against non league opposition again, but we did receive TV money. It would be so good to hear something like this from James Brent, but of course this money is already earmarked for paying off the historic debt. How bloody annoying is it to look at Cheltenham with their less than 3k gates sat in an automatic promotion spot and into the FA Cup 3rd where Premier League opposition awaits, AND being told they can strengthen in January? We won't be splashing out £70 let alone £70k in January and we look like we will be offloading players to trim the wage bill. We do need to trim the squad, but the deadwood need to be released rather than our better players. I can't believe I'm jealous of another club being able to spend £70k on a player but that's the situation we are in now and for the forseeable future under Brent and it's just not good enough. Sat 17 places and 17 points behind Cheltenham? We're a long long way off of even matching the mighty Cheltenham and I would bet good money that a decent manager like Mark Yates could turn our fortunes around given a year and a free hand to get rid of the shit Fletcher has accumulated, meanwhile we have an exceptional individual and a squad full of assorted rubbish, whilst almost certainly having a much larger budget than Cheltenham. |
