SV were very quiet too. Mind you, the game was so poor, particularly the first half, I'm not going to criticise them for a lack of noise. I struggled to stay awake, too.

To give Webb some credit he did sound embarrassed & exasperated at the end of the commentary tonight.
Whether or not he goes back to Brent to say as much is another matter.
I think he just trots out the "green shoots" line on autopilot nowadays so can't see he really believes it.

I noticed this last night. A Pasoti poster explaining that it was difficult for Chris Webb to be able to say what he wants about the current situation.

Dave Burns knows this because he used to coach the Argyle ladies team until he posted something critical about the club on Pasoti, after the defeat by Wimbledon

He was then informed that his services were no longer required as a coach.

Now Dave Burns has nothing but admiriation for Chris Webb, Ian Newell the GT's etc. and wants people to get of Chris's back.

Like all these people on the inside, he doesn't get it. It's football that counts, the product, the reason why people go to that place on a dark Wednesday night to hand over £20, not murals, not press releases, not happy clappy mood music from representatives. They're like kids playing some Waddington board game.... it's worse than the organic imminent thing ... and it's insulting .. that's the worst thing.
