Just had a look at the FV1886 website to see what was planned for the coming season, and it's lots of great stuff, but no details available yet.

They have lots of merchandise available, but no details available yet.

They want to re-ignite the good old days of the Devonport End, or more recently the Lyndhurst End in full voice, by moving the home fans as far away from the visiting fans as possible?

The website explains how the name Forza Verde 1886 came to be, and admit that it became a source of some controversy after a poll on Pasoti. What it doesn't explain is that the Poll results were ignored and somebody important decided they liked their own idea much better.

I have no real issue with the big flags and murals and lots of colour, although I do feel for people who have sat in blocks 3 and 4 of the Devonport End for donkeys years and don't want a great bunch of spotty teenagers passing a flag over their head, but what I do have a huge issue with is the fact that you cannot maufacture atmosphere. The best way to create atmosphere is to start winning games, gates go up and the atmosphere would follow automatically.

The heavy handed policing and stewarding around blocks 16 and 17 killed the atmospere, especially as crowds started dwindling, and with some common sense, this could and should have been the area to have the FV masses. As close to the away fans as possible. Drowning them out. Great clourful displays carrying on right throught the 90 minutes, and during the build up as well.

This video from the FV1886 website shows Jim whatsisname "directing" the FV, because the whoa ooh, whoa ooh, la la la la la la la is so fuckin difficult for the Ultras to remember and get going by themselves. How can football fans not know when and how to sing and chant ffs?

It's quite simple.

A successful team will improve the atmosphere

We ought to rename the Demport "the Cape".

We ought to create a mural to Robbie Williams. A big heap of dung in Bobby's garden would be fitting.

I saw a photo of our Robbie in action last night and he looks like he's shed a few pounds since last season, unless he sucks his gut in when he takes throw-ins for more power.
