| ARGYLE defender Durrell Berry has committed his future to the club. The 20-year-old initially signed a one-year deal at Home Park in the summer of 2011 having been graduated through Premier League outfit Aston Villa's academy. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| When he's at his best, he's 'ok'. When he's off-form, he's really quite awful. I take it this is the 'get the flags out' good news story we were promised then. |

| If Durrell Berry signing a new contract was described as good news last January, then the the white coats would have been produced and nursing staff called. He improved significantly as the season went on though and was looking a competent and composed player by seasons end,so i'm pleased to see he's signed.Needs to improve his attacking support play and crossing,we haven't really ever replaced Connolly in that respect. |

| I agree, early on he looked poor, out of his depth, inexperienced and not a good prospect at all.
Why did he improve? Better players around him? The coaching of Fletch et al? The normal fluctuations of a young lad? The encouragement of a few good performances? Who knows? |

| He was much improved, still think Bignot was the better player, i'm happy for him to sign on again though, he will only get better and better. |

| Bignot was a useless lump of dogshit only fit to even think about lacing the boots of the crappest players in Argyle's history.
Berry wasn't much better. |

You've been living dahn sarf a bit too long and become all gentrified. Not like, living in the North in Hampshire, pet. What I meant was, if we can't sponsor Max, how about Durrell. BTW, what is it with these names these days, Paris, Durrell etc, whats wrong with Roger or Stanley? |

| Become a decent player but yet to be convinced he can do it without Purse there to dictate his positional sense.
Still a lot to prove for me but I'm glad he's signed, matured into a decent League 2 player with the potential imo to be a much better player. |

I'd agree with that but if they both can get a full season together under their belts then I think he could do a good job for us. Similarly, I think if Nelson could play a few games alongside Purse his game would improve as well. Blanchard doesn't offer the same leadership. Nelson is also a top prospect for us. Interesting how Purse seems to be a crucial player. |
