Thanks to Nick's help, I've managed to put a donate button on the homepage (I don't think I've deleted anything).

Spoke to Elaine the Commercial Manager.

The price to sponsor a first team is £660 + VAT, a less established player is £450 + VAT (we would have to pay the VAT too).

Not every sponsor from last season has got back to her but Paul Wotton will be available. Curtis Nelson looks to be a possible (and there could be others).

The minimum charge on the board is £750 + VAT and we'd also need to pay production costs.

If we go for a board/ player together we can negotiate a discounted rate.

Do a player first before they all go, we can add a board if funds allow.

We have £620 in the account. To achieve a first teamer we need £792 (including VAT).

Thanks to Leigh Rapson for his donation today.

I agree, given the added production costs for the board, the player is the first achievable target. One query Mike, aren't there different prices for pitch facing or crowd facing boards?

Can all the generous donators, so far, please post if they have any violent objections to us targeting a player sponsorship as our first objective.

If we can get agreement on that then we can make the final push to get over the line.

Just bunged in £30 via the missus Paypal.

The cheaper (£250+ vat) crowd-facing hoarding would have been nice, but if the concensus is to go for a player, then just make sure he's not f*cking shit. Very Happy

I vote first team player first. Elaine has just been on holiday so will have a better idea on who is available, once she's contacted last season's sponsors.

To have people donating twice is truly humbling.

I shall have to have a peep through my fingers at how much is in my bank account.

I would prefer the advert board, but if the majority want the player sponsorship then so be it.

Ps can I have the framed shirt

It was only because Tiger Woods won this weekend. If Russia win the Euro's Razz I'll donate again.

The way your luck's goin at the minute Jock, if you tie-in a percentage of each win for a donation, and Brent keeps his new stand promise, I can see it now....

Well I've backed Greg Owen and Martin Laird for the St Jude's Classic starting tomorrow, but any winnings from that will have to go towards my gas bill I'm told lol!

I might be able to bung a few quid in at the end of the month, as I actually get a pay packet this month.

I'm still waiting to catch up with Chemical to confirm that an email we received from Elaine James this evening quoting a VAT inclusive price of £660 for an established player is the correct latest information.

If it is, then we're there, so keep your cash in your pockets for the time being.

The site occurs occasional small charges to keep functioning, for example Frank Bullit used some previously purchased credits this morning to keep the site advert free for the next six months. I imagine, subject to agreement, that we'll keep the PayPal account open for minor items like this as well as for future fundraising.

No doubt CA will update us later on.

£660 to my mind is a VAT inclusive price.i.e.£550 for the sponsorship plus 20% VAT,which would be the same price as what they are quoting over on the farm.

Is there any way I can donate through my Neteller account?

If anyone has Neteller I'm happy to forward an amount to be passed on (I'll pay the fees). PM me please.
