Does anyone have any experience of setting up a Facebook Event page? Any tips?

I've got a Facebook page, but not for an event (the address is in my signature if anybody wants to help me pay the bills).

It was really easy to set up, and the only difficult bit is getting people to 'Like' it. Maybe that's just me, though.

PS have to say I'm a bit hurt that you're not my friend on there, though Sad

My first and only tip would be....don't do it. Or if you did, do it in such a way that it is personal to you, without any reference to internet football forums.

There are some very sad people out there who will, at some point, try and glean any snippits of info to potentially use in a way you may not deem right and proper.

Suspect

It wouldn't be to do with me. It's for a big festival going on here in late October.

I think it's just clicking on create an event on your profile. Give it a name and details, then once you have composed the event details, share it with all your Facebook contacts.
