| ...from a do up at Argyle Anyway, is slightly on topic, was having a chat with Kevin Hodges (and michael dunford and others who were once connected to the club). The players would love a big crowd, was just wondering who else is going up? coyg

| I bet they would. I would love a big crowd watching me catch a train down to Cornwall tomorrow to do my thing, but I doubt there will be more than a hundred. Don't these people get tired of pushing their product ? How much exposure do they need ? |

Damon, I took that as meaning that the crowd seeing off Penz on the train to Cornwall would be no more than a 100. I think he's overestimating but I'd be there - especially as I live in Cornwall. |

Damon, I took that as meaning that the crowd seeing off Penz on the train to Cornwall would be no more than a 100. Well done Knecht... at least someone can read a post. I've quite liked Damon's candid posts on this site to date. But I must say, how can Damon be slow enough to think I thought only 100 people would turn up to the Manchester thing at Home Park I've never liked any business wanting to stretch it's seasonal hunting ground over into the territory of another's season ... very bad form .. Rugby League changing to a Summer League was an absolute disgrace ... what has that done to Yorkshire CC's bank balance ?. My view also extends to Argyle .... it's Summer .... have the good grace to let other traditional businesses take their seasonal pound... stop this new found love of Whitsunmania, looking for a few etra pennies. Actually, as it happens, there were far more than 100 waiting to see me off at the train station, although some said they were just there to catch another train somewhere else .... I didn't believe them... |

I've got a Devon and Cornwall railcard Damon, will that do ? I'm sure you might be lucky enough to qualify as well, and for those that require something etra we have our special D and C gold card. We're all one big family down at North Road Station ... come and enjoy one of my send offs, get to blow the guard's whistle, wave his flag, and get the chance to sit in the train driver's seat ( see another thread ) My departure list will be out soon, but I'm afraid I can't allow anyone without a licence to publish it without my express agreement. "If you can't wait to see me leave, get your platform ticket now"
