| A request. Can you please just use the threads dedicated already to arguing your points and leave the rest of the threads alone and snipe free.
Back to topic. It is a good start and there will be 4 more sales by the end of next week from this direction. I would be disappointed if it doesn't get to 4000 but would hope for 5000+ in the end. |

| Sorry SG. I consider myself chastised. Bought my G+ Family this morning. All in one go too! That's all my pocket money spent in one go! |

| My grandson isn't interested in sport at all despite trying to push him a bit. Mind you his dad plays bowls so I can see why his lack of interest in watching sport is less than enthusiastic. I also have 3 grandaughters. The eldest went last season but she was only interested in the pub afterwards. Not bad for an 11 year old and obviously starting young. The other 2 are 5 and 4 (today). I'd be more optimistic of the youngest one being a possible supporter of the future. I'll work on her a bit and see where that goes. |

Hairy J plays bowls? I had envisaged him as a cagefighter. |

| No Greenjock he is the one with the 3 girls. He not only is a cage fighter he is "THE CAGE FIGHTER". I on the other hand would lose fighting the 4 year old. Mind you she is a Joe Jordan lookalike teeth wise. She lost the front ones after diving off the back of a settee head first about a year ago. I like to think she was trying to head a balloon and went in where it hurts. |

| 2,000 memberships sold already - whatever level of membership they may be - has got to be good news. Like others, I hope the backing of the fans is translated into action in the transfer market. If we're serious about mounting a promotion challenge next season, the squad needs strengthening in all areas.
And, since we're all having a group confession about our intentions with memberships for next season, I'll just add that it'll be #1 son's first season as a ST holder/member (delete as applicable); he's been badgering me about coming to games for a few months now, but both myself and The Leader of the Opposition (aka the missus) thought he was a bit young. Next season though, different story, so he'll be joining me on a Saturday; and if he doesn't behave himself I might take him to some away games, too. So it's a Green ++++++ Family ticket for me, heading up to HP tomorrow to sort it. And Joe (Cerb's offspring) will have a bit of competition in the 'Chocolate Sponge and Custard Demolition Derby' when the Cherry Tree Cabal reconvenes in August. |

When you consider this time last year we didn't even have them on sale this is a great head start.
With May, June and July pay days to come (for monthly paid fans) I would imagine we will smash through last seasons total.
There will also be lots of advertising of the memberships in the Herald and WMN over the summer so personally I think 5,000 memberships is achievable which would give us a great base from which to build a team to be proud of.
Chris So does this mean Membership sales will exceed budget forecastes and will the extra money go to the staff? Or will JB have the bucket rattlers working again next season? PS Still waiting for the apology Mr Webb. |

I think for the first time in ages, it is expected that Argyle finish in the top half as a minimum. I'm actually, almost, looking forward to Argyle winning some matches. The pricing structure could be worse, too. Could be better as well mind. |
