All those Aviva's with nothing better to do on a Saturday afternoon.
Tring will be upset because they just haven't learnt yet have they?

Memberships can be anything from £25 pilgrim memberships right up to the big green+++.The numbers need to be broken down to give a more meaningful figure.

That does include the smaller packages as well?

The white package was well worth bringing back because not everyone can make every game and you can always buy tickets for other games. I would rather know how many full membership packages, season ticket in everything but name, are sold before the season starts.

This figure does include all memberships but the majority are full STs.

When you consider this time last year we didn't even have them on sale this is a great head start.

With May, June and July pay days to come (for monthly paid fans) I would imagine we will smash through last seasons total.

There will also be lots of advertising of the memberships in the Herald and WMN over the summer so personally I think 5,000 memberships is achievable which would give us a great base from which to build a team to be proud of.

I think it's excellent news to have sold so many in such a short space of time. Why the hell did they ever get rid of the different packages? Anyway, let's hope the level of support can be matched by a proportionate level of ambition.

Thanks Chris. Indeed an excellent start.

Can I suggest another tier of membership for the future:

Exile Membership.

1. 2nd Priority for Away games after Season Ticket Holders
2. Vouchers for up to 6 away games (if possible - I know its slightly unworkable due to unknown ticket prices)
3. Home Matchday Programme Subscription
4. Argyle Player
5. 10% Discount for Online Club Shop
6. 10% discount on Home matchday tickets

I would be quite happy to pay (without the away game vouchers) £100 or so for the above and it would fit my ability to support Argyle down to the ground.

Nail on head Nick!

Even so, with the risk of being slagged off as an aviva for saying something positive, it is a good start!

Shame really, wish I could spend my days in the sun far away sniping at anyone who dares to actually support the club, but there you go.....

Since you asked so nicely.....

It was a reference to the days when Tring was on Pasoti. He used to (as he still does on here) come out with:

Aviva

So Village

I told you so

as well as a few others. Apparently he used to get the broken record thing quite a lot because that's how he sounded.

Got it now? Very Happy
