Yes, if they are the ultimate password holders, as we were led to believe.

The idea of having keyholders was so that they would have that incentive to prevent the site from being taken over by spanners....ooops!

Pete, he has done exactly what he accused Ian Newell of doing. He has repeatedly lied and changed his story. He is guilty by his own admission of breaking confidentiality, the agreement made between the old mods to delete old threads, he has, without permission divulged confidential postings to third parties without consent from the parties involved. He has also implicated another person who he co-opted into the mod forum without any permission that they too copied private and confidential information.

The above is all in open reading on these boards.

The contents of the threads and the result of the election are immaterial. The FACTS are laid out. Never mind this would be bad enough were he not in a position of apparent trust and impartiality, but he's a moderator and supposed guardian of the site!

It is not for me to advise the mods on a course of action, but you MUST act on this. To do nothing and sweep it under the carpet will cause this site to lose all credibility, if it hasn't already done so.

I agree totally with those statements, Cerbs. Do you think that banging on about it will speed matters up or make the decision for us?

I know that there are only a total of four mods - one of whom is the party in question. That leaves you, Chemical and Charlie. You are all active and on line this afternoon, as is one of the keyholders, Pete.

That gives you the two thirds majority you require for a decision. You would do well to act quickly rather than let it fester. That's all.
