| Seems to be an odd situation- I remember a question from the Q&A (might have been from Cerbs?) where the question included offering CF a new contract. JB denied this. I would guess there is an issue with wages? |

| I thought he had been offered a contract, but the negotiations were still ongoing?
The way I read this is that he's not getting what he wants/being offered enough and is making 'I'm off to where I'm going to be more appreciated' type noises.
Perhaps I have that wrong? |

| Don't think anyone said that.
We have very little debt - obviously, 'cos we walked away from most of it. And we have a very healthy playing budget apparently (for L2). |

Perhaps I have that wrong? I'd expect that Brent has offered Fletch a vast decrease in wages. Which makes sense, seeing as he has probably been on a decent CCC wage since he's been here. If Fletch thinks people are going to be clamouring for him to stay after directing us to 90th in the FL, he'd be mistaken. Watch him sign the deal then take over at AFC Bournemouth once Bradbury gets sacked early next season. |

Watch him sign the deal then take over at AFC Bournemouth once Bradbury gets sacked early next season. 1. I think you'll find that like many others Carl Fletcher has already taken a huge pay cut when playing his part in saving the Club. 2. Lee Bradbury was sacked in March..... |

2. Lee Bradbury was sacked in March..... 1. How huge, what is he on now and what has he been offered? How much are you on? 2. I've been away. Wonder if Fletch is eyeing up the vacant role? |

| It just shows that not enough facts leads to mis-interpretation of meaning, and too many facts get lost in the interpretation by many.
So headlines like "Fletch and Larrieu's future at club uncertain".....is just mischief making and attention seeking...... and that sell newspapers, and gets message boards looking for hidden meanings.
Thanks Mr President for stating the facts.....some will believe....and some will not.........and ask who's facts are they anyway....you just can't win.....just once now and again would be nice.

| And it's a useful tool used by many to strengthen their bargaining position.
Not convinced by Mr President's proclamation that CF has taken a pay cut. More likely deferred payment like Simon Walton, who is still with us and I'm yet to be convinced he's not another waste of money like Steve Maclean. |

And the owner thinks £1000 a week will attract good quality players to HP. As an aside, I'm still waiting for my apology Mr President. Or will mentioning that start off your odious little PM's again? |

This may surprise you, in 2008 the average wage of a L2 player was £49,500 and L1 was £67,850, dont think thats changed to much especially with the wage cap. So Brent if like you claim isnt to far off is he. |

| That figure is stupidly skewed though. It includes all playing staff from apprentices to youth to full first team and is an average. Meanwhile the grapevine reports that Fletcher is holding out for word from Bournemouth. Oh dear! Ego bigger than his capabilities. Means we'll end up with a disgruntled manager who doesn't want to be managing Plymouth and will be off at the first opportunity. |

| Knowing Argyles penchant for cheap options, they would probally just make Deehan manager. |

Possibly. Or Romain perhaps? The options will be limited by Brent's refusal to pay anything like the going rate for an experienced manager who knows what it takes to get this club moving forward again. All the noises coming out of Home Park at the moment lead me to believe that we're in for another version of the Hodges era. But, hey, we still have a club to support. And a big flag. Be grateful you plebs. |

| If we hit the ground running we may finish as high as 85th! I am planning my pitch invasion as we speak. |

| Whatever happens it needs sorting sooner rather than later. With a squad that needs rebuilding so much dilly dallying around sorting out the manager isn't the best way forward. |
