| My little girl is six months this week. She's just about mastered sitting up unaided (although has to be plonked into a sitting position) and yesterday she had bits of chicken, cheese and cucumber for lunch (all firsts) and some ham and mango for tea. She's the best thing, ever. Did suggest to the wife that she go back to work full time and I do the house husband thing but she's not playing ball with that plan! |

I've got five ! Eldest 30 this year, youngest 16. Talk about expense, stress and worry................. but I wouldn't change a thing. Mine are now in their mid twenty's. It's been heart breaking, near on poverty, worry, stress and a roller coaster with the pair of them although generally they are great! Those of you now that have little ones have all that to come but I envy you so much. To say I am proud of my two would be a complete and total under estimation and they have given back much more than they have taken (not financially though!), you also have that to come! Would I have kids again? If I thought they would be half as wonderful as the first two, you bet I would! |

| My lad Joe is probably my best mate. He's intelligent, articulate and still only eight! He's also mouthy, cheeky and impossible.
Imagine life without him? Not a chance. Imagine going to Argyle without him? Not a chance! |

| Well chaps, I've got a 20yo stepdaughter (who has lived with me for 15 years) and I'm willing to lend her to any of you content old feckers to show how you can be punished for all the bad things you've done in your lives! She's actually got a heart of gold hidden inside somewhere but a 15 year battle of wills is very wearing PS We've got another 4 20/30 somethings between us who are all good 'uns. |

It's brilliant when they starting eating food. The other half is a chef and won't let him have stuff from jars, so we both cook casseroles, soup, spag bol, cottage pie and things like that, and he eats with us. He laps it all up and you know exactly what is in it. He loves breadsticks as well which are easy and not so messy. He's almost fully walking and moves like greased lightening if you take your eyes off him for a second. Love it still but wouldn't mind a lie-in once in a while |

I used to be a chef and intend to do the very same thing! Glad we've got wooden floors not carpet! |
