Apology accepted but you're still an obnoxious tosser. Sorry, that's not very clear. Are you objecting to him being "obnoxious" or being a "tosser"? Or perhaps you are implying that his tossing isn't very good? Please share your expertise with us. |

| Greenjock, I can sympathise TOTALLY...like yourself, I will react to and stand against ANYONE who has a "POP" at my dependants.. to do itto a child makes it even more odious... Last weekend I found myself about to get into a punch up when some prat put his face into my wife's.. And, believe me, I haven't been involved in that sort of thing since secondary school... Your apology, however, is commendable! ATB,J. |

| I say greenman old chap I do wish you wouldn’t come on to this site and cast aspersions about one of our members namely GJ he is a valued member of this esteemed forum and as such it likely that you will cause upset and dismay amongst his fellow members.
So in summery then GJ is well liked on this site whilst you are an a$$hole (offence intended) |

I know, and it's a little one. Now that's a reply! I would say that out of Greenjock and Greenman, there is definitely one who fits the description of 'obnoxious tosser'. And it's not Greenjock. (Given the level of intelligence we are clearly dealing with on Greenman's part, it is probably worth specifying that Greenman is the obnoxious tosser. Yep, you Greenman. Obnoxious tosser. Clear enough?) I would also like to take back what I have said in previous posts about probably not going as far as Greenjock in reply to the goading. Talking about changing nappies was the cheapest of cheap, pathetic jibes and if I were in GJ's place I would have gone as far as him in reply, if not further and he would have deserved it. Greenjock, your post at 20:05 was absolutely fantastic: a really eloquent description of what it means to be a hands on dad. As a 32-year-old guy who is terrified of the prospect of becoming a parent one day, I think that staying at home to look after your kid is perhaps the most honourable thing that anyone can do and I have masses of respect for you. Clearly the value system of anyone who would seek to use that fact against you is completely twisted, what an utterly, utterly shitty thing to say that was. I actually feel really sorry that you even had to read such vicious nasty stuff. Take care, mate. Oof, I'm dangerously close to showing emotion here! Time to go... |

good luck on your journey mate A teenage daugher...good luck. Mine is now 20 and you still have 3 torrid years ahead. Boy 18 who loves football and is turning into a mini me (God help him). Good luck Jock with all the baby proofing. You wait til they get old enough and you succumb to getting a puppy, then you will have to puppy proof everything. Problem is you don't and the puppy eats into all the woodwork in the kitchen. If I had my time again I would get a tortoise...not sure whether it would be instead of a puppy or daughter!! |

| He watches The Hoobs every morning at about 6am, but he loves the Go Compare and Confused.com adverts which drive me nuts. When he's being a little bugger I pray one of the adverts will come on to shut him up. I often play them on youtube for him.

| Jock, I am actually jealous. I was a house-husband full time for over two years and then part-time for a few more years. Hard work but wouldn't have missed it for the world. Yes, when they're little you have to deal with the shit but I've had jobs like that!
My two are 20 and 21 and they're wonderful (most of the time). Don't think though that when they get older you stop worrying about them!!!!!! |

| It's funny how things come around, my eldest is just entering the realms of teenagedom. My whole life-plan at the moment as far as she's concerned, is to try and make sure she doesn't get up to the sort of stuff I did 30 years ago!! |
