| Andy, did Tring write his opening piece for the meeting? If he did could you include it in your report on here. _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! | Report written and emailed to Rick Cowdery - once he's had a chance to add his thoughts I'll post the finished version on here for everyone to rip to shreds debate. |

Unfortunately Tring didn't get a piece to me in time. However I'm in no doubt that James and Peter now appreciate the qualities of the ATD forum. |

Number crunching from last night: We were told that a) A single Police Officer costs £350 for a matchday, and b) The average League 2 wage is approx £750 PW. So from the point of view of one day's wages cost, the Rozzer is on more than the player on the pitch. Bizarre. |

| The cost of a copper is not what he earns, there are overheads, such as Tasers, uniforms, nice warm cars and dog biscuits... plus the chance to get a little back into the coffers. Most cops on football (certainly in my day would incurr overtime) not sure how much of that occurs these days. |

I didn't know that the police are fed on dog buscuits! An old mate of mine was nicked at a match once for barking at a police dog, maybe the copper thought he was after his food. _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! | Just going back to the pasoti Q & A for a moment... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]May I ask you how close the club were to liquidation before you decided to put your money where your mouth is? Deep Throat A: We don’t know for sure: the Administrators were clearly in control of this. The Administration was, however, unfunded and I suspect the club was very close to liquidation. Maybe someone could ask the mods on Pasoti which of the many Deep Throat users actually asked that question? |

Owing to differences of opinion between the current moderators, I did not feel I had a remit to write on behalf of ATD. Andy was happy with this. |

As one of the founding fathers of the dissident movement I hope you will continue to argue your corner and accept the fact that others may disagree at times. |

As I have previously mentioned, I have offered to not stand for re election, if the other side of the disagreement would do the same. This was rejected as I haven't done enough 'grunting' , actual moderating. I have admitted that I would have to up my game in that department should I stand and be re elected. In fairness, the approving of new members etc has been largely undertaken by a small number of mods, who I thought enjoyed it ! With regard the actual moderating of the forum, I have found that a humoured and light hearted approach works well. Just last night I helped calm a thread where a new member was hellbent on provoking Jock and it was escalating. I will and have suspended, then banned 'repeat nutters' who have been spouting libellous and completely unacceptable material. It has now got to the point that I have now offered to unilaterally withdraw from the election , IF a constitution which will safeguard the ethos and democratic priciples of this forum is composed and approved by the membership prior to the election. I don't see how any fair minded person could have a problem with that ? If I should disappear from the boards, you will know why and I trust, ask questions. Things have been going on in admin that make this constitution essential in my opinion. |

I will and have suspended, then banned 'repeat nutters' who have been spouting libellous and completely unacceptable material, on a couple of rare occasions when I was alone.

God! This begins to sound more like pasoti every day. Talk about pasotification! The essential difference being, that I am trying to broker a solution and walk away. If the current admitted 'differences' behind the scenes are openly discussed, ATD is nothing like Pasoti. Just think, you might have all this fun to come
