That thread got quite interesting on Exeweb last night, where I got accused of being homophobic by Big Dave

I see that The Newell Files was also advertised on the This is Plymouth site in the comments section of the match report So it had a much bigger audience than a couple of internet forums.

Have they closed Banter Base on Exeweb? I did go through a phase of having a look now and again to enjoy the musings of a user called Poultice...quite a character he was

Banter base is still there but you have to be signed up to view it know.

Newells come in for a lot of stick on there lately which has led to him not posting. The city fans find this strange considering the plight their club are in and the fact that we are now safe.

His good buddy Southampton gull is fighting a losing battle defending him single handedly with the latest revelations. SG were the initials of the person Newell asked to plant a virus in ricklers email account! Who woulda thunk it.

Ian, why are you trying to dictate who the club engages with? RE: Q&A with ATD?

I have never been a member of ATD but when I saw those emails my blood boiled. The arrogance leaped off the page. You can't really blame them for wanting to out you when your sending emails like that.

Really casts doubt on how independant this site is....
