Has anybody else heard that he's joining us on Monday as player/assistant manager?? Possibly the only way we could get around the wage structure??

It would only be worth it if he was still a force as a player. If not, then we will have a very expensive unproven coach.

Depends on if He's prepared to go without pay for a couple of seasons.

Kevin Phillips won't be short of a few bob after all his years in the game. It could happen. Ridders knows the simple Plymouth fans get starstruck very easily, so would forget talk of a Trust owned club in favour of a pasty and a pint with little Kev....................... unbelievable !

ps I think he'd be a crap coach anyway..............he sounds thick to me and I am usually a good judge.

I suppose the Reid connection could be a factor as well,rookie coach learns under old hand etc,etc.I'll believe it when i see it,though.On a wider basis,it does puzzle me that one minute the Riddler talks of the club of being on the verge of extinction,in the next minute seven new signings are going to be announced on the same day.Not very consistent,i guess he means that it all depends on the buy out going through,'tis all a bit one extreme to the other,though.

I think Buster does a bit of coaching for one of the Argyle junior sides,seems to ring a bell.Talented player,finest Argyle moment was when he kissed the Argyle badge in front of the City fans after setting up the winner at Sid James in 2001.Ungrateful little toad,eh.
