To be brutally honest I don’t fancy us
There playing well really well at the moment stoke and there recruitment has good with some championships quality players who seem to have gelled well saw highlights of the mauling they gave boro passing was slick good attacking football similar to the style when Schumacher was here
I think they might be just a little to much for us today they look a completely different animal than they were last season stoke
Really hope iam wrong and we get somethink out the game but if that is the case we’re gunna have put in our best performance of the season so far that’s for sure

Agree it's going to be really tough. Stoke have shedloads of cash which they have used to good effect in the window. Of our signings the only one who I think really stands out so far who would walk straight into any other Championship team is Cissoko. The Middlesbrough game was EFL Cup so I'm assuming it was far from a full strength Boro side.

As for schumacher's return I'm sure the Argo players will be well up for this but make no mistake so will schumacher and unfortunately he has the tactical edge and the better players.

They aren't that good, one win in three and hammered worse than Argyle were by Watford. I suppose nobody will know the strengths and weaknesses of the Argyle players better than Schumacher but still think we'll win this one.

Expected result.  When I saw Hardie was starting up on his own I knew we were not going to score.
Stoke were crap but still better than Argo all over the pitch particularly when attacking.  Stoke created many chances and every time they attacked cutting right through our middle they looked dangerous.  Argo created very little and were just all round dire in the first half.  But After the break Argo actually were on top for a while after bringing on Obefami and Tijani and the second half overall was pretty evenly matched.  In the end Stoke, like every other team in this division, had that bit of extra quality which we simply do not posses.   Hazard kept the score down to 1. If it wasn't for him Stoke should have won 4 or 5 nil.  We look well and truly relegated but hoping against hope that Rami al Hajj enables us to actually create something because at the moment we are creating zilch.  If he turns out to be another dud we are finished.

Nothing in the game really, both keepers made some decent saves-mostly long range although Stoke were possibly a bit more penetrative.0-0 written all over it until the winner-Hazard seemed slow in going down for the shot after Mumba had failed to block his man. Very worrying predictability about Argyle-as Freathy says it cries out for someone with imagination and technique to unlock defences a la Azaz and much will indeed depend on the new signing.

to defence of hazzard in real time it looked like ..but after I watched the replay a couple of time he couldn’t see it till very late the defender in front of him was blocking his view if you noticed after it went in he was having a go at the defender ..but that said he should have had the near post covered better ..but then again if it wernt for hazzard it could have been 3 or 4 nil made some good saves again

Pretty unremarkable, they just had one piece of creativity that we failed to have.
