That is becoming painfully obvious. This site could be brilliant. |

Oh bless, the Pony shows his 'one trick', yet again... FWIW, I think Trings suggestion of a ceasefire with him & Cerbs is perfectly reasonable, and the way forward. |

- Since the badly run election and unaccountable voting slips the Trust has stood still.
To my mind, while everyone dithered about the GAS Board the Trust should have seized the initiative and took centre stage. They didn't, they were too quiet and will now get left behind as the focus switches to the GAS Board. Whereas the Webb/Newell backed gas board formation has gone swimmingly? You really are the biggest ass licker I have ever come across. If Newell says jump you shout how high darling.
Your lord and master with his multiple accounts and friends in high places is desperate for idiots like you to do his dirty work by posting on here defending him and the turncoat president, well I would have thought you would have lots on like deleting threads and banning anyone who's tongue isn't firmly planted up your two hero's ringpieces.
The ex trust leader, never elected, who gave it up to be Brents mouthpiece, is now questioning the trust because he's now right behind the Brent initiative gas board, and a crumbling trust will leave el presidente free to ensure Brents bidding is done. A fine specimen of a union man, feck you lot now, im in with the boss.
I hope we avoid relegation and then Brents true ambitions are shown, and people will realise that argyle has become a squabbling bunch of wannabe politicians thinking they matter. It's a feckin struggling football club on rented land, with a hotel on the grounds doing well with no benefit to the club whatsoever. If Chris Webb wasn't all loved up with James Brent he would be seething about the current situation and the gas board fiasco, whilst the already formed trust has been pretty much ignored.
Not just because of how shit we are, but the bullshit that surrounds argyle right now, it's totally lost its appeal. Steering committees and presidents who only represent their mates?
As cerbs would say, it makes my piss boil, grown men feckin around talking to themselves using loads of fake accounts on a football forum, a supposedly open and honest club president who can't provide his ip address because it might cause embarrassment if people realise him and his friends feck around trying to disrupt another forum because they don't agree with all the ass licking?
Leave them to it I say. Let them think they're important right up until the minute it dawns on them that argyle was a carcass to be picked off, and whatever title they've been given is meaningless.
I've had it with these pompous fuckwits and their games, a committee to form a board to watch a board who have handpicked the board watching over them?
The average argyle fan doesn't give a toss who Chris Webb or Ian Newell are, but in their own imagination they are vital lol. A trades unionist cosying up to the boss while he devises schemes to further dismantle the club and it's assets, and forgets his roots along the way! I don't think I've ever agreed so much with a post, in it's entirety, as that. Big up, Jock. |

So? Was he elected ? He didn't need to be elected to start something of his (our) own. We didn't need an election, it appeared everyone who was first using the site (approximately a dozen of us) was happy with the arrangement. Nobody called for having elections. Who wants an election now? Speaking for myself, I'm happy. |

In any case I now see there is apparently no need to scrutinise Brent. So thats alright then. |

You must be absolutely bricking yourself because I'm a mod.
Don't forget though, t'was me that spent two hours helping get this site back up when Penz took it down in the middle of the night and I was one of the first that held up my hand to keep it going come what may.

What is that comment supposed to mean? It means that comments from Tringy and yourself certainly point to the supposition that I am Newell's puppet and not to be trusted.
I don't need to justify myself, I am as entitled as the next person to my opinion on here. As is Tringy and you and everyone else. It's the personal attack I can do without.
I am certainly not delusional.
If anyone has a problem with me then the PM option is up there ^^^^^ other than that, I have nothing else to say.
I noticed that neither you Ricks or Tringy denied thinking that I was Newell's poodle though.
--------------------------------------------------------------------- Jeez Cerbs... Are you having a meltdown or what? You say you don’t have to justify yourself. Well I am saying you do! You are being completely disingenuous, and that is being kind. Taking it from the top. I don’t know why you brought me into your argument with Tring and I don’t understand why you are trying to ‘link’ me with him? I have heard a lot more from you recently by PM than I have from Tringy. And the stuff you told me was a lot more ‘red hot’ than me asking Tringy why we couldn’t get rid of the advertising banner. And, if I ever have discussed you with Tringy, it was to be put in touch with you so that I could give you the details and access codes to a website I owned, that ATD thought they might be able to use. Would I do that for someone I didn’t trust? Would I give access to something of mine to someone I thought of as a Newell puppet? But worse than that.... I replied to a PM from you a few weeks ago concerning this very subject with the following paragraph: ”I just want to get one thing straight. I don't think you are in Newell's pocket at all and I know you are your own man and speak as you find fit. I also think you have been more than a wonderful addition to this website and I am glad that you are a mod.” So... For you to say: “I noticed that neither you Ricks or Tringy denied thinking that I was Newell's poodle.” Sorry, I didn't realise I was on trial. Where am I meant to be making my denial? Can you provide a link? Because, quite frankly... I dunno what to say. Because, as everyone can see - I made very clear in a PM I didn’t think you were Newell’s Poodle. But you just went ahead and lied about it - What do you have to say for yourself? And what personal attack? You started this whole thing by going off on Tringy with a gout comment! Where have I personally attacked you? And why would Tringy be “bricking” himself because you are a mod? He is a mod too. I wouldn’t know about the current mod room, but throughout this site I would think he had more ‘support’ than you? Yes.. We all know you’ve put a lot of hard work in, but so have a lot of other people, and I’m betting it was a lot harder to ‘resurrect’ this site after Newell shut the last one down than it was to patch us up after Penz went MIA. Talking of modding... It’s not good for a mod to tell someone (especially another mod) to “go and f--k yourself”. You are meant to be setting an example. I am sorry that certain people have traits that annoy you and that this site is not all that you think it can or should be. But you are “delusional” if you think that by curtailing Tring’s pessimism that this site is going to be so much better. Do you think banning Grovehill from Pasoti is going to improve that site? The sort of crap you have come up with on this thread is a lot more damaging to this site than any posters cynicism towards Argyle could ever be. I look forward to all your answers. |

At least on here, for now, we can both have our say......ps you don't have to hide Greenfella. Come out ,come out whoever you are One man's trolling is another man's banter. Ain't that right Ian ? | I think Pepsi is right- it would be better to sort this out behind the scenes (chat room, Skype, BBM, S&M ) than air dirty linen in public. Wouldn't surprise me if Deep Throat/ Windsor Boy/ Deadly Lampshade etc will start rumours on this site falling apart. I've met Cerbs (REAL fans meeting REAL people ) and he's a good bloke (and is definitely not in Nool's pocket). I've not met Tringy but I like his internet persona and he's one of the main reasons why I joined the old AT board - he also provided moments of humour (e.g. the don't rush comment ). Didn't think there was a need to bring Ricks into this, but he's also a poster I respect. You can tell me to f*ck off if you think I'm interfering , I don't mind (f*ck me, is this ATD blind faith?) |

To save time (and bandwidth) you could have just written 'IJN'. As for the rest, agree about Cerbs - top bloke, and as likely to be a Nool Tool as I am to be slimmer of the year. |

This! But at the same time, this We all know how Newell likes to groom his opposition and when I found out that Cerbs had received the knock of joy on his front door I knew he was the latest target and I wondered how Cerbs would cope with that test. However, having met Cerbs and looked into the white of his eyes I didn't think that he could be sweet talked and I still don't. Weaker characters submit, stronger characters don't and I think that Cerbs is in the stronger characters bracket and is capable and intelligent enough to see straight through the likes of Newell. It's no secret that Ricks and I have had our differences recently and I sometimes find Tring a bit "mundane" with his persistent attacks that he post on virtually every comment that he makes that to not such an extent I am also guilty of as we all are, but I would defend the right to make those comments or we risk following the same path as our cousins on Pasoti and become a dictatorship that oversees the site with the sense that the overseers opinion is the only opinion worthy of being published. There are no choices in this, if we want free expression as the site was conceived then we must put up with opinions that are repetitive and opinions that we don't agree with or, follow the same evolution as Pasoti and adopt its often pretty vile and disgusting methods over time. It used to state at the top of the home page that we welcomed anyone with an Argyle or football interest but that's long since been edited and removed. If you need to attend matches to use this site then it would disclude me and a great many others and even more if you included those that say they do but don't. - I hoped that the site would remain free of football snobbery and the bullying manipulation that such a stigma produces and I would hate to see those tools used to justify a stance or to back up arguments. I agree with Pete, this spat will put a smile on the faces of those that would do this site harm. But isn't it good that we can have this spat knowing that nobody will pick up a ban, be bullied, have their comments edited and moved or be belittled in debate. We don't need numbers to be a good site, we need freedom of expression. Whilst it is nice to see the site rise in numbers it's not a necessity for the site to be a success. Carry on gentlemen, there's nothing wrong with a difference of opinion, it's healthy! If this debate between Mods and Users was had on Pasoti, what do you think the outcome would be? - This site doesn't have potential for being a great site, this site is a great site! |

| As a point of fact, I believe Penz was virtually running the show alone here for long periods, at a time when the control freaks from the farm were on a trouble making mission.
Sadly, he seems to have tired of the endless fight against tyranny, for the time being. |

| Greenman, ask Newell why ATD was formed, if however you'd rather not upset your dogging partner I can provide you with a link where you will find the full story.
Maybe your blind worship and ball licking will come to an end when you realise what really did go on. |
