On the whole a good outcome. Don't think he's recently touched the heights that he achieved in the early months of the season before last but has done a competent job as the anchoring midfielder. Good opportunity now for him to go a step further and bridge the gap to the championship.

I don’t see him being a regular starter but he’s worthy of a squad place.

true he probably wont be but we know when he does play we know he's going to do the job required and he offers something different to the current options in midfield so hes a useful player to have in the squad and we will need strength and depth with options next season all over the positions.

one more player to make his mind up to wait on and its the one player i rather we didnt offer a deal too but never the less i fully expect him to sign it any day now.
