| Why not? An old friend of mine was in the army based in the Middle East in the 50’s and went out on patrol. They were only supposed to go out for a few hours and had basic rations but came back 3 days later after a few ‘problems’. They arrived just in time for food and went straight there. They had Irish stew, some sort of crumble and custard with a slice of bread to separate them in their mess tin. When they sat down to eat they took the bread out mixed it all together then ate it with the bread. The other soldiers there didn’t speak to them for weeks. _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife!
