On balance no. Must win this one. Argyle 3 Charlton 1.

Hopefully put that pizza cup nonsense on the back burner & the 5-2 that followed …need to get the 3 points today and make promotion a priority

We're not going to score so need to stop Charlton from scoring.

Good win for Argyle, Bolton Derby and Barnsley all dropped points. Couldn't be much better.

We have two tough games against Derby and Barnsley to get out of the way then fixtures look a bit better while the rest of the top 6 still have several games against each other.

Hard game great result, well deserved, Burton didn’t have much to do, thought Mayor had an excellent game and Azaz coming back into form, Hardie MOM

For anyone who wasn't watching, at no time were Charlton well on top and they never looked like scoring. Very Happy

Deserved win in the end despite some of the worst officials this season, and that's saying something. Hardie had a great game today, very intelligent running and caused them all sorts of problems, his goal was brilliantly taken.

We were good all over today which was needed after last weeks defeat. 7 more wins, possibly 6, as a lot of the top 6 have to play each other.

we won yeayyyyyy

much better performance good build up play for the most shit execution for most of it. Mayor and Azaz behind the striker works so much better than the other options and we should be looking to continue with those 2 for the majority of the games left.

vcharlton battled and looked dangerous at times but good defending and luck kept iour clean sheet.

Hardies goals i think has to be one of the quickest goals from the second half kickoff there has been. Alot missed it but that will teach them to try downing 3 pints in 15 mins lol

overall good win shame wednesday and ipswich won. Bog game coming up on tuesday.

Am I right in saying that none of the new bheys started today? Maybe Schuey has come to the same conclusion that most of us already had and that's that we haven't got 22 first team players?
Anyway great win that and a clean sheet, never known a team that can be so bad one week and coast to a win the next. On balance Sigh only needs to sort the queues, the shite over priced food and drink, capacity, the fooking awful glitchy Argyle TV and answer an email when it doesn't work and we will have a nice little club. Keep it up.

Fairly obviously Schuey went back to the team which took Argyle to the top of the division pre January-maybe a message to some of the intake that Peterborough was not acceptable and standards need to be far higher for any chance of promotion to be realistic. Tightish first half with neither keeper being tested, Hardie on his own up front was effectively shackled when getting in some decent positions. That changed in the first few seconds of the second half when Hardie blocked a rather casual clearance from a Charlton defender and took advantage with one of his sublime chips over the keeper. Argyle were dominant from then on without really creating much except for Hardie surprisingly delaying his shot from a far easier chance than his goal. Charlton brought on some subs and they did make a difference for a while but again they didn't really create much to trouble Burton and Argyle's subs Wright and Ennis combined to seal the win late on. Good win and a mention to a couple of players-Gilhespey was a tower of strength throughout and i thought Houghton had his best game for many a long day. Big game now on Tuesday and Derby will not be encouraged by their collapse against Shrewsbury, good chance for a win and put them totally out of the picture. The pace is very hot though, can't shake off Wednesday or Ipswich who just keep winning. Amazing.

One thing I meant to ask was what was with all the Canadians? Saw them walking by Milehouse then again some different ones on Outland Rd? Flags, shirts, even a Mountie ffs.

Thought we looked very nervy first half, luckily against a very average Charlton. Missed the Hardie goal getting a drink Mad but seen it since and twas a cracker, he had a decent game and you could see their defenders were struggling to cope with him. We were better 2nd half but so were they after they made 3 or 4 changes, luckily our 2nd killed it off for a crucial 3 points.

Massive game Tuesday night but one I think we can win if the players believe and go at them. Next Saturday is a worry against a decent Barnsley team but if we can get through these two with 4 or more points and with what looks to be a fairly gentle last 10 or so games then automatic will be well within our grasp.

On the other hand it could all go massively tits up Very Happy

Heard them coming out the train station. Sent a load of them over to Wyndham Square to look for all the boozers.
