Having said that, Poland missed a fair few chances in the first half against the Frenchies-don't think they're unbeatable by any means. Get the second half done in this one first though. Yep, job done and easily too, both teams look like they can make a feck up at the back and both teams we know have goals in them, going to he a good match for a neutral, i reckon we will nick it. |

| Dodgy first 30 minutes or so where Senegal had a couple of good chances and could have taken the lead. But once England had got into their stride it was all plain sailing. Good to see 'arry get his goal at last. France are beatable but it's going to be a very tough. Even if England do prevail next Saturday I don't think our goal conceded tally will still be only 2. Love the Senegal fans - band still playing and still dancing at the final whistle! |

| The Matt cartoon in the Telegraph had a tactical briefing with the coach telling the players, "if you advance up the pitch in small rubber boats the French won't try and stop you". |

poorly taken aswell. Spain like Germany are several years away before they are back in the elite group for international teams. |

| Could be a Brazil V Argentina Semi Final if both win today ?.
As for the big un tomorrow, I think it will be a tight-close game with one goal separating it. If England can up their game and play with some style then they can rattle the French.

| I wish every football pundit we have would move to Brazil so we don't need to listen to their incessant arse licking of the bheys in yellow. I hope Croatia go on to win this one. |

Agreed. Thought they were an average side except when destroying less than top class opposition-they tend to be rated highly because of the achievements and quality of their truly great teams of the past but the reality is that they are way short of that standard and have been for 20 odd years. Hopefully the Argies will fall as well and that is very much a possibility against Louis's boys. Underrate Croatia at your peril as England found out last time, never say die spirit and some superb technicians. |

| With Neymar now on the plane home the media/pundits still have Messi to slobber over at least until tonight. If the Argies lose they'll all have to make do with Mbappe. |

Looking like the final is tomorrow night unless Morocco keep it going. I love the favourites going out.i think the only way we can lose this now is Gareth comes out with a team of nine centre backs and a lone defender up front. |
