Went to this one today.  Argo were not great in a very niggly game with far too many misplaced passes and cheaply giving the ball away all the time.  When Argo did manage to put some passes together going forward they looked dangerous and the difference between Argo and Accrington was Argo were clinical in front of goal and Accrington were shite.  Officiating was piss poor with ref making some really baffling decisions and looked completely clueless with the chaotic scenes when Scarr and the Accrington player both saw a red for a 50-50 challenge!! "You don't know what your doing" and "shit referee" chants were written for this ref. Cosgrove definitely deserved MoM, he was immense today both up front and getting back to defend.  Great win and 3 points!

Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

With the form Freathy is on we'd better watch out that Hallett doesn't sell him to a rival forum.

Freathy has obviously started a course of reality pills at long last.

It would appear that going to an actual game has activated some semblance of normalcy in him - and that was probably Argyles worst home performance of the season.

we do indeed. With that said I pray the board and management don't believe as a result of this that we dont need to strengthen the depth of this good side in january.

Can we hold on to Coops in January though? I'm hoping he'll choose to stay with us and we can go up

stays or goes makes no difference either way if we dont add depth elsewhere aswell. Im sure the board are smart enough to know selling cooper in january would be a dumb feck move especially if we are still in the promotion hunt. End of the season only if there is a move to be hadl

Another great win well done the bheys, we've got a top squad of quality players which makes me think we will be there at the shake up come april time, all a far cry from the dogshit days of the Brentmare.

Echo what everyone else said. A niggly bad tempered game spoilt by the bizarre decision to send both players off for a 50/50 challenge then award us the free kick. Apparently ref was applying “the letter of law “ which is amusing as he was shit the rest of match as well.

A lot of the passing was sloppy but we stuck at it and had the quality where it counted. We seem to. E finishing games far stronger than we start them which is good

It's not like both players went in studs up and off the ground was it? I watched it several times and was a yellow for both at best but a talking to would be more like it.

Very odd decision by the ref who obviously had a moment, anyone with sense who understands footie would have said two yellows and a drop ball.

Thought Cosgrove's goal was pick of the bunch, looked like he took too much time but then stuck it in through several players and the goalie, great football.

they both went in late on each other and their reactions to the ref probably got them a red. This is a good case for var in the football league as that situation woud have helped the ref our tv didnt even replay it lol.
