| Dan Scarr blocks a shot from Parkway's Rio Garside inside the penalty area after Argyle twice give the ball away cheaply in a matter of seconds. |

| Joe Edwards seems certain to score for Argyle with a sidefoot shot from inside the penalty area but Parkway's substitute goalkeeper makes a terrific save. |

agreed we still need strengthening all over by accounts and if you can be tactically outsmarted by a pub team clearly losing downing's influence from the backroom staff is going to harm us as schuey tries to learn on the job with a rookie assistant. |

PS. If Argyle took a cut of the gate money as alluded to above that is shocking! Imo Quote from Stuart James Plymouthlive “It’s the two big clubs in the city coming together – as we do year on year – and it’s a festival of football which both sets of supporters really enjoy. This season, it’s sold out which has never happened before, so it tells you that both clubs are doing something right. “It will be a record crowd which is another big thing for the club. We seem to keep making them and the money will help. It is factored into our budget this game, Argyle take a cut which is their prerogative, but it’s a great day for us and we make a few quid out of it, so it’s all good.” |

| Jeezus! Were in a far worse state than I thought! Maybe we've had our 2 seasons in the third tier AKA our Premier League and it's time to return to our rightful place in the basement |

The Greens started with a mix of youth and experience from the off, with 17-year-old Oscar Halls playing in the middle of a back three Finley Craske, returning to Parkway where he spent the back end of last season on loan, and Ryan Law played at wingback, Steven said, “There are a lot of positives to take, and the young lads would have gained so much from that. “Oscar Halls was in the middle of two experienced centre backs which will do him the world of good. The other young lads who came on in the second half did really well as well, they looked calm and confident.” Those other young lads were second year scholars Jack Endacott and Jeffery Forkuo. And it was the latter who made a big impact setting up skipper, Joe Edwards, to head Argyle level in injury time. Today isn’t about tactics,” he said, “it’s about getting back out there and getting the distances and minutes in the legs. I wish fan would read who was playing, |

Parkway certainly didn't. Lol. I do get your point but I did wonder when I saw that lineup whether it was picked by Gareth Southgate? Fair enough trying out some youngsters but where was Mikel? Shorely the pre season would help him to suss out how we play? Not only that but winning and losing are habit forming and we can't go turning out against teams like these and not winning it's embarrassing. |
