| not sure if many are aware but on twitter the club are running polls to pick 11 players using the 442 formation to go on the wall outside the ground in another attempt to divert attention from the lack of transfer activity. The club give 4 options and twitter followers can pick one and that player is then going to be on a wall outside the ground. (still havent finished the walls inside the stadium fwiw) so far the kids on twitter have selected 1. GK Romain Larrieu 2. RB Paul Connolly (i was shocked to see how little Worrall polled in this compare to the others but i guess the kids dont know him) 3. LB Gary Sawyer and 4. CM David Friio. Now its on to the first central defender at 5. and its now become a farce in my eyes now. Any fan would tell you Coughlan and Wotton where arguably our best ever partnership given the success we had with those two at the back. For the first poll neither are mentioned and its a choice between Heathcote, Nelson, Bradley and SEIP! Seip being put down as an option even though he wont win unless spam votes count makes the whole thing a joke in my eyes considering what he and his wifes family did when he scored against us while on loan at Blackpool. However hes currently as i type this 2nd in the poll. Heathcote was my vote but Bradley is winning by a mile and imo a very good defender for us yes but not a club legend certainly not when considered to Heathcote and Coughlan. I dread to think who the club is going to put in the second poll for number 6. if Coughlan and Wotton are both in the same poll im tempted to vote for purse just for the bantz from plebb if he is choosen. |

| Is the choice restricted to just from Luggy's first time as Manager?
During their time at Argyle, Nicholl Wilmot and Miller were all better keepers, Capaldi Hodges and Chris Barker, were better left backs and TBH when you have Centre backs like Mark Smith, Nick Marker Jock Morrison Andy Comyn to consider, why look any further?
Why are players who struggled at Championship level considered to be better than those who did well at that level?

| The club haven't even bothered to reply to my email regarding the stupidity of the Twitter vote. I await Ruben Reid being voted ahead of Tynan with anticipation.

| Mariner? Tynan? Black? Leslie? Chisholm? Newman etc etc. Utter fecking nonsense to include people like Seip [good player that he was] and Curtis Nelson in any attempt to portray Argyle "legends". Presumably this would be to appeal to the yoof section rather than any serious analysis of players who have really earned the honour over the 100 years of Argyle's tenure in the football league? Depressingly skewed thinking. |

You could only choose between 4 players so far the results are GK Romain Larrieu 59.7% Luke McCormick 29.1% Alan Nicholls 6.5.% Jim Furnell 4.7% RB Gordon Nisbet 26.2% Mark Patterson 14% David Worrell 9.3% Paul Connolly 50.5% LB Colin Sullivan 5% Paul Williams 6.4% Tony Capaldi 35.8% Gary Sawyer 52.8% CM Steve McCall 8.8% Ronnie Mauge 4.6% David Friio 79.8% Lilian Nalis 6.8% with 11 subs im not going to be happy at all if Marcel Seip appears on the stadium he should never have been picked. |

| Welcome to the dark side Angers. Tbf it's really difficult picking a legends team unless you looked at it decade by decade. |

| So it's a bit like "Greatest pop star" or "greatest Prime Minister" votes then. Usually won by someone from the last twenty years as that's the era most people remember.
TBH Sawyer was a good servant to the Club but wasn't even the best LB in the squad! |

| A "legend" should span several generations of players other wise you're just talking about the best team of that time. No one in the team during the Hodges "era" would get a look in to the teams of other "eras"
Legends are players like Crudginton Hore Randell Sullivan Mariner Tynan and Halmosi-either outstanding players in their own right or excellent servants to the Club. |

| to be honest they could have saved themselves the bother and just put up the players involved in the double title winning squads and be done with it. You cant get more legendary than them and they ought to have somekind of tribute |

| We should have done what arsenal did with say 5 players on the back of Devonport.
Mariner, Tynan, Friio, Wotton etc other combos are available |

| So today you can vote between Paul Wotton, Graham Coughaln, Krisztian Timar and Jack Chisholm... Absoulte helmet whoever dreamt this up and thought putting Coughlan and Wotton in the same group would was a good idea. Wotton is winning with Coughlan second however reality is Coughlan was a far better defender more so than bradley and if he isnt in this top 11 the whole thing is a joke as far as im concerned and kids shouldnt be allowed to vote if they cant be serious lol. Does beg the question when you look at the votes of the likes of Chisholm whether the club does anything to promote its history to new generation of fans and whether they ought to address this if the kids generally believe wotton and bradley are our best 2 defenders. Wotton would struggle to be in anyones top 11 to be fair. |

if your happy to have people undeserving of the title legend pictured over home park then fine but those who take the club seriously aren't very happy the club are cheapening this by doing a shit poll on twitter only and have to see a defender like coughlan lose out to wotton who was never that good a player to begin with its just a joke that we all would be ripping apart if this was done under brent. |

Angers I don’t do Twitter nor FB so I wouldn’t know what’s being posted on there, but it’s all a question of choice and opinions and we’re all allowed to have them, I don’t agree with many of the players suggested as mine would be from a different era completely. For instance my GK would be Dave Maclaren, I’d also include Wilf Carter and Gordon Fincham as my CH, but I just can’t get wound up about it, more interested in the future signings rather than the past. |

| No one is alive to have seen Jack Leslie play and there is no footage of him playing for us and if there is im yet to hear off it so why is he now being voted for in a poll higher than Kevin Hodges and Paul Dalton!.. David Norris is winning the vote atm in anycase but still Everyday this makes me more pissed when i see it lol |
