- Very tough one against a VERY good team. They've had some good results over the past month and a half or so, notably wins over Oxford, Wycombe, Charlton and an excellent draw at Sheff Wed last week. Argo are really going to have to be top drawer with no mistakes for the full 90 to get anything at all from this one.
Argo 1-1 Stanley You were saying? |

| Shcuey and Edwards seem to have put a bit of steel in the team since Lowe left seem a lot better at the back and don't mind changing something that's not working even allowing the ball to leave the ground on occasion. |

| Very comfortable win, wouldn't say it was a stroll but for most of the game we looked as though we could score whenever we felt like it. Solid again at the back, Houghton was good today as was Edwards. Pan was excellent at times, but gave the ball away in dangerous areas especially first half, but we had the cover.
Ennis looked lively when he came on, great finish for his goal, Hardie got another faint touch to a Mayor cross/shot.
We looked a very confident side today and were far too good for Accie.
On to Tuesday - win that and there'll be a handy gap between us and 8th, which may serve us well for the last few difficult games. |

| 4-0 We didn't play that well few mistakes a better team would have punished.
But it's fine we just got to keep wining the games. No matter how we play.
Two small gripes We still need to work on corners and 2 why don't we leave Hardie or Garrick up when we are defending a corner. We clear it and then they win it right back.
On to Tuesday |

| firstly feck that feckin janner song up the arse and if the club insist on being village by using that song then atleast cut it to the argyle verse and no more and its overkill especially no as the club as playing that in lieu of reading the team lineups. Also it appears now that when i order a cup of tea i can only have half a cup and no more which has been the case for the last few games yet the price goes up!!! disgraceful from the club. anyways now thats out of the way.. great win just what we needed a convincing win at home to really get the fans pumped for the final hurdles in the playoff hunt as we start to play the teams in the hunt soon, I dont think we were even at our best today which is another good sign that we can still get good results like this without hitting top gear. Was a little shocked to see Sessengon dropped as he was excellent midweek and didnt deserve to be dropped at all but it didnt impact the result so its no matter it was good to see Ennis get his goal and a good finish it was too bound to give him a confidence boost same as Camara who seemed to love being sung too by the devonport end as he came off as he was shaking kids hands posing for selfies before the club told him via a staff member to move on. Seems to be a new thing now that the kids at the game to whom there where alot of them today are now lining up for selfies with the subs as they are warming up. Not sure if i approve of that tbh especially if there is alot of kids asking for them at one time taking away the players prep for being ready to come on. needs to be controlled if this new fad is to stay otherwise i can see the management getting pissed if they want to bring someone on but he's too busy taking selfies. overall good game good win onwards to tuesday

| Stanley pretty much dominated the first period of the match and looked far more threatening than Pompey ever did on Tuesday, loads of corners and possession-Argyle have had the rub just recently when it comes to "they hit the woodwork" escapes and today was no exception with a header from a corner smacking against the bar. But Argyle were always dangerous [and rather wasteful with the final ball on a few occasions] on the counter and when it came down to brass tacks, Argyle could defend in their box whereas they were hopeless. 'Tis goals that count as Aristotle once said and Argyle virtually wrapped it up by half time with a couple of good finishes from Camara and Edwards. Having said that it took a great save from Cooper to keep them out early in the second half-five clean sheets in a row and it did cross my mind that the maturation of Cooper is playing a major role in reassuring the defence that even if the opposition get through then there is a formidable obstacle still to be overcome. Good substitution by Schuey to bring on Ennis who quickly put the match to bed with an angled shot and the keeper getting sent off and the rather fortunate fourth goal [i thought Mayor had score in all honesty] were just incidentals. Great win and imho if Argyle win on Tuesday then the play offs are virtually assured-you would be bleddy unlucky to miss out after getting 74 points from 39 games. |

| Unbelievable Result! Well done Schuey and the team! I don't think the play-offs are a realistic possibility given our horrendous last 8 fixtures but it's still been a very good season. |
