| Stephen Robinson, who took over the dugout at Morecambe after Derek Adams’ departure to Bradford City last summer, looks set to move north of the border to St Mirren, swapping a third tier relegation battle for the Scottish Premiership.
Robinson’s likely departure appears to have come as a shock to the Lancashire club.
A short and tellingly-worded statement read: “Morecambe FC can confirm that we have been approached by Scottish Premiership side St Mirren to speak to manager Stephen Robinson in relation to their managerial vacancy.
“The Club has reluctantly granted Stephen permission to speak to St. Mirren regarding the position. |

| To be fair to Robinson as a football manager you are lucky to be employed for as long as a season some times, it works both ways. |

to be honest i wouldnt think they would want to bring him back so soon after he jerked them around for months on whether he was taking the Bradford job or not he shown he isnt loyal and will walk out on them again as soon as another club comes in for him with a slightly higher profile, i wouldnt want him back here as manager if he done that to us not in under a year anyway. |

Should he keep them up we know for definate who two of his summer signings will be Songo'o and Threlkeld lol we play morecambe next week i think aswell.

| Why? Adams did a good job with an absolutely shite budget, I wasn't bothered when he left as his football brand was workmanlike but uninspiring but tbf to him we would have been spanked week in week out trying to play fast attacking football with the dross he could afford. |

He turnt on us time to give the scotch wanker some back i wont be cheering him, Sure he did a good job here overall but he also did alot of shit like wembley, ballsing up the league 2 title and the complete break down in his last season of our football and his relationships with players and fans. Best move Hallet did once he took over control from the reluctant one was to get rid of him albeit a tad too late to save us from relegation. cant be arsed to boo him either but i trust schuey winds him up just to see him go nuts in the dugout |
